Since last Wednesday, I've been having an issue upon cold start, and even sometimes after the cars been driven a bit. I filled up at a gas station I don't typically use ( Shell ) with 93. Noticed it about 10 min later after stopping to get food that it hesitated to start, but did. Didn't think much of it, but later that night I left work, hit the start, hesitated, almost as if it was on E85, and then idled rough as hell, but straightened up.

I logged the car Friday morning, thinking maybe I had an 02 taking a dump, but both show fine. Noticed short terms are bouncing everywhere, so I think vacuum leak. Checked Friday afternoon and can't seem to find anything anywhere. Replaced plugs just to be safe. Nothing. I've now noticed that simple driving, the fuel trims stay around -2 to +2, but if i'm light on the throttle, or say engaging the clutch to go to idle, they bounce everywhere.

Car is a 2016 GT, 2.9L Whipple with the 132MM TB. Never had an issue until last Wednesday, and kit was installed at 400 miles, now has 26K.

Anyone got any leads, maybe had somewhat of the same issue? I've been told could be TB, could be a failed cat being a blower car?

I had this issue with the same code the other day. Talked to my tuner about it, here is what he said: Clear the code then go into special functions on your x4, select "kam" = keep Alive memory...choose reset "Kam" follow the instructions when your finished it will be fixed . worked like a charm for me...

Well I have the nGauge. Doesn't offer a KAM Reset function. But. I know disconnecting the battery is supposed to do it, but I had it completely disconnected the other day doing the plugs and I don't think it reset.

I swear to Jeebus every time I go to a Shell I either get an oddly lethargic car or an issue. I don't know WTF it is... maybe just chance and bad luck. I've stopped altogether.

See I've used shell gas for quite some time now. Never had this issue until now. If it had done it before the day I got fuel, or possibly with another brand of fuel, I would think it was getting bad gas that started it. It's a bit better now. But also curious if it DIDNT reset the other day when I did plugs, if it's still running off the memory of that bad tank of fuel, if that makes sense.

I know 11-14 you could. I assume 15+ should be able to do the same. Can't remember which fuse it was though.

On the '11-'14 cars I believe it's fuse 47 ( PCM ). I'm assuming the same PCM fuse, which ever it may be, would do the same thing.

Nothing in stone yet. Start up issue has pretty much gone away. Fires up fine now. Short terms look wayyy better at idle and cruising they're normal for the most part. Still jumps around when say engaging the clutch and going to a stop, it goes to like -20 then works it's way back to -1 to 0. Trying to see about what my local Ford dealer would charge to do a compression test just to be on the safe side.

Was reading some info on a guys post who said car seemed sluggish, put new plugs, still sluggish and someone mentioned checking the cats ( which I still have ) and guy ended up having one melted. Said he'd been getting a tinny sound coming from the area. Which I have noticed a bit lately when giving it throttle so I wonder if it's finally melted enough to affect the car.

Also checked my TP1 & TP2 voltages yesterday for shits and gigs. TP1 is supposed to be 4.1V-4.2V, optimal is 4.15V. Mine showed 3.98V. TP2 is .75V-.85V, .8V being optimal. Mine showed 1.021V. Not sure if this is causing a throttle issue, possibly not letting the car learn fuel trims at idle or something?

It has been 6 years but I'm curious if you fixed the issue & if so what was it?

I clean my TB & it fixed for a day & got the code & rough cold start idling back within 2 days.

Went to an exhaust shop and had the converters removed. Passenger side was melted pretty bad. I did have Lund re-tune the car to be catless and never had issues after that.
