I'd like to have feedback from users with Standard exhaust and X pipe...

Is it livable on the highway and as a daily driver....

It'd like a little bit more noise, but not something which will drone in the highway or with some load...
Standard with Ford Performance X on my 2018 daily. More volume and character than stock. Highway barely noticeable unless down shifting in sport mode. Cold start is actually quite loud but mellows in 30-40 seconds. Great for now, but honestly leaves me wanting a bit more but definitely a nice bridge until choosing a full exhaust.

Thanks for the feedback. I ordered an SVE X pipe yesterday night. At $119 if it's too loud, it won't be a big deal...

I have the SVE, as the design is the same as most options and it is cheaper. I didn't see a point in an SS X-pipe, as the rest of the exhaust isn't SS. All the x-pipes that share the SVE design suck for sealing, and really need to be welded in. My only complaint, other than poor sealing, is the added rasp. However, I will likely deal with it for a year or so, then add a full exhaust with long tubes.

$529 for a double x-pipe, have they lost their minds? Anything over $299 is overpriced.
Agreed it's expensive, but it can be had for much less if you talk with vendors on here.

1. Produces a unique sound from double X
2. 304 stainless steel
3. 3" piping
4. Direct fit with Corsa axleback if you ever wanted to, and also direct fit up to 3" headers from ARH, Corsa by removing the adapters

Probably not the best option for doing a resonator delete, but if you have plans later, it can be. For resonator delete I'd go with the excellent Summit Racing stainless one I linked on page 1.

I just had the local shop fix another small leak on my SVE. Now that it is 100% welded, the sound is perfect. Much less rasp. IMO, you should have the back side welded in. Even a tiny leak greatly increases the raspy sound.

Installed my X pipe on my 2018 GT PP1 this morning

You were right at light loads and stabilized speed the sound volume is almost identical which is a relief. No drone.

At full throttle the exhaust note is louder inside the cabin, but not so much. From the outside though the car is a lot louder, especially with windows down.

Cold start is really noisy...My neighbours won't like it :ninja:

Not too bad, but I was expecting more at high rpm...

Quick review of our X-pipe, also have a section on this forum:

Just got the X pipe installed and I also have custom muffler deletes. This thing sounds incredible and screams at higher rpms, and has a quiet rumble when driving regularly through the streets. The exhaust shop said it was one of the best quality pipes he’s seen in a while. Great product and fast free shipping!
Best Regards,

TJ
