coming down to the wire, have approval from the wife to trade in the Dodge for a 2018 GT, have it narrowed down to 2 local cars. links to both window stickers below. I have offers from both dealers within $100 of each other and both at $39000. not sure which one is the best choice. does the PP really make that big a difference in performance?

Yes it does...if like the price your at get it, then put your own suspension on the car! But the pp brings better resale value in the long run!

the Orange car is the GT premium, the PP car is a base model and is lightening Blue.

what does the PP give you that differs from GT trim?

You posted the same link twice. MY 2 cents is if available the active exhaust is where I would put the money over the black treatment. You can often pick up new takeoff track pack wheels for about a grand and do that whenever vs something like the active exhaust (895) which might be impossible after the car is made, or NAV which is 795.
I likee the orange fury :)

• Heavy-duty Front Springs

• TORSEN® Differential with 3.73 Axle Ratio (Manual)
• TORSEN® Differential with 3.55 Axle Ratio (Automatic)

Absolutely. The PP is definitely worth it if you enjoy more than going fast in a straight line. PP over premium every time without hesitation.

I think the more important question is which color do you prefer. Mods can be done later to surpass the PP.

Neither. Of those two choices, I'd rather combine them...an Orange Fury Performance Pack.

This guy gets it.

Between the two I'd have had a hard time choosing, but I loved Lightning Blue when I saw it on the lot as I walked around. Initially was going to decide between Ruby and Black.

The dealer had an orange 2015 with Ceramic interior. Really cool. I think orange fury with pp. If you look around you might find one in the same price range?
