The EB's upper grille matches the lower portion -- non gloss, matte plastic. Only the GT's upper grille is gloss black.
If I get an EB hopefully I can find a GT owners to trade. I like the gloss grille.

Hey Bill,

What’s your experience so far with the new 2018 with regard to:

1) any hood flutter as experienced on the 2015-2017’s?
2) (subjective question here) do you like the factory rear spoiler? Does it look better in person than in pics?
3) how’s the view from driver seat compared to 2015-17’s hood view?

At this moment, options are limited. SCT has their new BDX tuner that we offer (Videos coming soon) and it is 2018 compatible. With updates on this device there will be "canned" support. This means you would be able to use the device to create a strategy tune and actually select the JLT when building the file.

But custom tuning is where you will see the largest gains. There are several options out there for custom tuning on the SCT devices and I don't want to create a debate in this thread as to which is best, it almost comes down to personal preference and what your goals for the vehicle are. There will be much more information coming soon about tuning on the 2018 along with sevral tuning options that can be purchased through CJ Pony Parts, stay tuned!!!

*No pun intended...well maybe a little ;)

That’s a reasonably big gain of torque at the lower rev area. Should definitely feel this at launch

I didn’t see it listed anywhere if it is? Waiting for Lund also, I thought I read they weren’t optimistic there is much left? That increase looks solid though!! Ok, I see it his car up top....

That is bone stock + tune (stock CAI).

They are doing another run soon with the JLT and tune.

Ok 444 RWHP. Ummm...500 flywheel HP?

And if that's Bill's car he made even more torque and horsepower than his first dyno run.

Yes as to make it fair they took stock tune, remove limiters and re-ran. Hence slight gains.

They then tuned it and re-ran getting a close to solid 20WHP gain.

More impressive to me though is how much power these 2018 have in the 5500-7500rpm rev range, power comes in sooner and it stays longer, no big drop off past 6500 like older gen had.
