Love all the feedback in this post!

Wish Photobucket didn't ruin the first page! That kinda took some motivation from me to keep that first page epic. I will try and work on it when I get some time.

I have a base gt and the suspension feels terrible. When I accelerate the front end of the car always lifts and all of the weight goes to the back end of the car.

After looking at the thread as far as stance I really like the sp080 springs. I also read that the sp082 and sp089 are a great combo. Which set would give me better handling and help my front end lift problem? I just use the car as a dd and some spirited driving. I have not tracked but might get into it. Any advice?

Luis, SP089 is the just minimum drop version of the front springs in the SP080 package (.875” vs 1.2”), which also uses the SP082 rear springs

2017 base GT- Non PP owner here. I just ordered some wheels. 19X9.5 +25 front and 19X11.5 +56 rear.

Here's what I'm thinking. Front tires will be 275/40 and rears will be 345/30 :).

For suspension I'm thinking aftermarket shocks and SP080.

Thoughts?

Why so wide in the rear? Are you making 800 whp?

Yep grab those springs and some better dampers and you'll be much happier. Even GT PP dampers are a big improvement.

I didn't know 800 hp was a requirement for wide tires. And no, I'm completely stock but thanks for your input.

It'll handle like crap with that stagger. Not trying to be antagonistic. If you aren't concerned about that, I get it. Be forewarned: that wide of tire is extremely prone to hydroplaning, particularly if you go with an NT05R or similar. Jeff Ashton had the same setup on his old Whipple'd GT and put it in a barrier without even trying to deploy the power. A 315 rear would be a good option for that wheel.
