Right, so the 18 GT350 are not changing the front?
Correct. GT350 will continue with my15-17 bodywork. However this one is a 17, with a 18 colour. (Nothing like being confused!)

I've stolen this from another thread .. to be honest, in black, it looks great ..

I pretty much always thinking one car ahead, and was concerned (current feelings) that I was not going to be able find a new/year old large capacity manual car in about 4 years ..

Black, yup, that'll do for me :D

In black and magnetic this car is an improvement on the outgoing car looks wise from the factory, it looks super aggressive and mean out the box.

Red looks totally awesome as a PP2 car, again an improvement. Were yet to see other colours in PP2 form, so cannot really comment.

But the other colours in pictures the front-end seems a touch odd, the new MY18 Shelby, MY18 Roush 729 and MY18 Cervini looks insanely good and seem to suite all colours.

MY18 looks a total disaster on small wheels with balloon tyres on base suspension (none PP / magride), it simply fails to work as Ford dialled some of the muscle out, to dial in some aggression and sleekness which works very well on darker colour and on the more aggressively styled (lowered / splitter) cars. But on a base mustang in a light colour it simply looks horrendous.

Ford said it themselves they have styled it aggressive and with performance in mind, but it only really pulls off the look with nice wheels, lowered and an aggressive front splitter, otherwise it all kind of looks a bit out of place.
However no matter the options, no matter the colour, it is instantly recognisable as a Mustang to both car enthusiast and none enthusiast and for Ford that is absolutely the most important thing that the car causes no confusion as to what it is.

That black looks stunning, not a fan of those wheels though. Have to agree with Gibbo actually, especially in black, with a more aggressive than stock stance, the my18 looks the nuts. Better than the my17 in the same colour combo? Maybe...

True story - after placing my original order for the Ecoboost, I was on the fence with a number of colours, I called to make the change to black but then bottled it  glad I stuck with magnetic but I would have been equally pleased with black I think

Or ruby

Or race red

:ford:

Stolen from US section but at least this time I think EU gets the better looking car, mainly due to the clear front and rears, looks cleaner. :)

Which leaves only one thing, do RHD have bodged headers. :D

actually looks better in a good colour for once i do love that spoiler don't know why people seem to hate them so much.
front bumper is still an abortion though on the upside the shelby front end looks quite nice so there's hope yet.

You know our headers will be fucked up just like before they won't have re-engineered those just recycled the old ones.

OK this is damn right sexy! Real life photos simply look far better on this car than the press photos, which really probably spells a good thing in the flesh.

Also the forged MY18 wheels seem to really suit blue, magnetic and black cars. But look a but rubbish on the lighter colours.

I've optioned the forged wheels, my guess is they cost ÂŁ1000 additional, might be worth deleting them as that is ÂŁ1000 saved for a custom set of wheels of my own liking.

Still not 100% on the spoiler yet but it is growing on me. I will say though that both the Lightning & Kona blues work very well on the MY18. I actally don't mind the front end, but it would be good to see it in person before my car arrives along with everything else that ford have updated /changed.

Or just paint them a different colour? if it's ÂŁ1000 for forged wheels that's cheaper than most aftermarkets (weight of each dependant) so still be cheaper even with a refinish.

I am sponsored by two brands, not cheaper but my plan was to try a dark clearcoat on the MY18 wheels, to tint them into a dark chrome style finish, as you know I am against black wheels.

Just looking forward to getting it, the more I see of them, the more I hear of their performance the less I feel inclined to mod it, but you know me will probably have it in pieces within 24hr of delivery, already got a collection of parts for it. :D

Yep lmao look forward to seeing what's done with it . Generally most people aren't sponsored so you're looking at a tad bit more ;)!

Weigh up the forged's (Or if a us guy can) interesting to see how light ford can make a wheel for a stock car.
