Hello all,
I have a '15 auto transmission with roush exhaust and JLT intake. The guy at the speed uploaded a tune for the intake but I feel like the shift points are not smooth and I don't feel that much difference in torque or hp. The shift point from 1st to 2nd is pretty rough, car just hops forwards aggressively. Any suggestions on what tunes I can get online? I have the SCT tuner. Thanks.

I love my Lund tune. The shift points are much more firm to the point of spinning on the 1-2 and 2-3 on factory tires, but that can be turned down on request. Power is night and day so something must be off in that tune.

Lund would be our recommendation. Fantastic tuner with tons of experience on the Coyote platform. We can provide a Lund Tune for your SCT device. Just need to grab some basic information from your car and we'll get the tune emailed over. If you're interested in ordering, please give us a call and we'll help get you squared away.

The Lund tune makes the automatic transmission a beast. Mine shifts too hard when the trans oil temps are too low, it gets smoother as the trans oil temp gets more into the green. It still shifts very firm but precise. You can ask them to lower the shift pressure also.

Bama tunes don't shift as hard and they also give you option to adjust the shift pressure of each gear (1-2,2-3,4-5,5-6) independently on the SCT X4 before actually loading the tune. IME the throttle response is far quicker on the Lund tune vs Bama. I definitely feel the power increase over stock. It's like night and day. The Bama tunes felt strong too.

Livernois/Lund are the typical answers you'll get around here. They're both great options if you don't care about warranty.

I've got Lund Flex tune, PMAS intake and Solo Thunder. Put down 359hp without the tune and 401 with it, both on 93.

Why leave the gearbox settings stock?

Couldn't be happier with how my car feels after Shoemaker tuned it. To my knowledge, he's with Palm Beach now.

I had lund give me a tune with the stock trans tuning. for street driving it's nice. i don't need it to hit hard all the time.

running livernois now with their OTS 91 sport tune for auto's. The power is there and shifts hard at WOT and soft at part throttle which i like.

However....it's not locking the converter correctly under part throttle (normal acceleration). I can feel it shifting gears from 2-5 but the rpm's stay at 1800 to 2000 the whole time. Feels like a CVT. Plus it upshifts far too soon and is unwilling to downshift unless i go pretty aggressive on the throttle input. this is in D or S.

I've emailed them and am waiting for a response but I'm surprised i'm the only one with this issue.
