Gets worse.
I didn't realise you cant put a rear GT wheel on the front of a GT. I did this and the noise was horrendous!
Really pissed off now.

Errrr....you might want to check the inside of that wheel now.

Hate to make your day worse but that noise may have been the caliper on the wheel. :(
More likely wheel on his suspension setup being too wide and not spacered/cambered out enough.

Stock GT wheels are 19x8.5 and 19x9 (f/r) putting the rear on the front MAY not work... I know I run 19x10s on my fronts however smaller tyre and cambered out a bit due to coilovers....

The offset on the rear is 52.5 vs 45 on the front so 7.5mm nearer the caliper. No consolation Steve, but thanks for trying this out :(

A thin spacer (even some washers) would work temporarily.

I am so frigging pissed off right now. Not sure when I last felt this angry! I am a cool, calm and placid person.

That sucks!... I really feel for you there.

I've always wanted to catch someone doing something like that... can't legally post exactly what I'd like to do to them, but they'd never ideally be able to hold anything like a screwdriver ever again.

It's a sad thing that a lot of low IQ people in society take to resenting those who are perceived successful or show signs of success in owning nice things (just raw jealousy and nothing more) and somehow feel that doing this sort of thing 'betters' them!

What goes around comes around though... and although you may never really know, whoever did that will no doubt eventually receive their due Karma, probably while bending over to pick up the soap in the shower in whichever correctional institute they finally end up in!

Correct however lets think of this logically..... the STOCK FRONT GT WHEELS(which I believe he still has) will work instead of rears. I doubt they'll rub or catch the caliper either. (Unless some seriously whack camber is on his car... which it isn't looking at it ;).

And the stock fronts match his otherside fronts tread pattern (baring a 20" vs a 19" alloy)

Anyway as Nookie lets hope karma gets them! :paddle:

In an ideal world I would have put two stock fronts on.
Trouble is I ended up convincing myself they are the same all round as the tyre size is the same all round. I have 4 tyres that came off the car, all the same size.

So I just picked the two with the best thread and shoved them on.

Just hope it does not turn out to be an expensive mistake. I should be okay as I turned round as soon as I heard the noise so just did a hundred yards or so

Did I really say yards? Sound more like my Dad every day!

Ignore me. For some reason I thought you meant some sort of spacesaver/spare or something. :frusty:
Lol.
Trust me, first thing I did was check against the calipers and was quite relieved when I saw the wheel was not against them!

It looks like he's had a go before. There seems to be another wavy scratch just below the door handle.

Do you have a neighbour that walks a dog late at night and may possibly have had too much to drink?
Err, I hate to say it but that's dirt! I think he must have dragged his sleeve along the car when he did it or something. Hopefully it ruined his favourite hoodie (I actually had to google that to see how to spell it!).

Shared my thoughts on FB, I simply would cut these fuckers hands off, absolute scum who deserve to die, sorry some may not agree but the world would be better off without these pricks and do not care that they might be someones child or angel, hope they fall under a bus or one day when they can afford a nice car some scum does the same to them so they know how it feels.

Harsh but I can't stand such people and if it was someone who had an issue with you for some very odd reason because yeah your a nice guy, they should just take it to your face and talk to you.
