Help Me Pick An S550 Turbo Kit PLEASE!

So my Centri Days have run its course with my 2015 GT, very very happy with how far i was able to take it but ive decided its time for something new and am wanting to give the turbo world a try....im looking to make 1200+ wheel HP, looking for reliability, i want a kit that is basically ready to install when it arrives and doesnt need me to find things or massage anything on the car to make it work...important to me is paying for something with great quality but that isnt going to take an indefinate amount of time to get my hands on....im basically ready to pull the trigger now.....seems all the manufacturers build them to order and it takes anywhere from 4-8 weeks.....i can live with this but dont wanna fork over my money and end up waiting 6 months for it......been thinking of the Hellion kit with the 6466 upgrade.....ive been told the Armageddon Kit is basically the best on the market but i cant find any info on them for an S550 and am not one to be on a waiting list.....then there is the HPP kit which i believe is much like the Hellion Kit, seen Joe Holt run the numbers with the LPF kit and then there is also the boost works kit.....any help and input on which kit to go with would be greatly appreciated. Im gonna get a quote this week for hellion twins, already have a n/a build on my car with opg's, billet crank gears arp crank bolt ...etc ...my tuner will hook me up ...looking for 750-800 rwhp on e-85...

Pretty sure Heinz has a BES built motor. If you can hang tight about a week. Brian & Brandon will have mine finished or at least on the rollers. Twin 67 BW full kit. you will have a chance to at least ask them their opinion about that particular kit & how it compares to the Hellion kits they have installed.

yes i saw your car, it was about to get worked on, didnt you wait like a century for your kit though? thats not my thing, i dont like forking over money for parts and then waiting 6+ months.....not sure if that was the case with you but from my understanding it was....if i could buy a kit tomorrow i would, the problem is the build when ordered time....every co. i talk to needs 2-4 to 8 weeks and beyond then who knows how long that gets extended....

I thought there for a while, Hellion had kits on the shelf ready to stock...perhaps they've sold them all.

Definitely a frustration I've had with this car is everyone is willing to take your money now, but months can go buy w/o a product.

Curious was your decision to go with Hellion primarily based on availability ?

Because they have a newer upgraded 62 that adds an extra blade on the impeller that allows the turbos to spool as quick as their 55's but with alot more power. Im currently awaiting a quote from my tuner on that very same kit!!

Seems to be a good kit but I'm personally not a fan of the heat issues in the engine bay nor how the exhaust pipes hang low beneath the car. From what I've seen all the turbo kits out there make the same power at the same boost levels, just comes down to personal preference.

my choice was based on companies not returning my calls, not having an eta for delivery once i paid, not the thpe of guy that wants to hand over that kinda bread and wait eternally, boost is boost, lots of guys making great power with the kit, ill address any issues that come but every kit has its quirks...i like the look of the turbos under the hood, im adding an air to water setup, and doing a custom dump with electric cut outs....spoke to Urist himself for about 30 mins and he was a straight shooter, he promised me a kit within days and he delivered...i told him id be ordering it via Beefcake and it was all settled same day and the kit has already arrived....

Hellion kit with air to water MMR intake would be baller!

Keep the plumbing short amd itll spool faster too.

Really like the idea of that combination but ive only seen one setup like that.

Surprisingly it's been over a year since these turbo kits have been out for these cars yet they are still almost impossible to get. Hellion was first to market and seem to be the only ones readily available with kits on the shelf hats off to them.

I've been patiently waiting for JPC to release their single turbo kit for the S550. Last I heard was there was some final finishing touches on the kit and it will be available for purchase.

Sorry we couldn't help you.. we went through a hurricane and were down for weeks. We've built and shipped about 10 kits in the past month. We're typically only waiting on Comp Turbo, as they have 2-3 week turnaround time right now. Precision kits are usually ready within a week.

JPC :frusty: they are seriously missing the boat here.

I tried to put a downpayment on one in may but they wouldnt let me.

I was told the same thing in may. Still waiting on "finishing" touches. CMON i realize they have quite a few drag cars filling their shop year round but i dont understand dragging their feet on a kit that should bring a decent profit.

Yet they have lots of "inside JPC" videos on facebook and are working on other highend cars like ferraris too but i dont get why this kit isnt to market yet!!

I dont get why its taking so long! :(
