How long does it take to assemble the body pieces into the shell ready to be painted? I read that it takes 10 hours to paint the shell and 6.5 hours on the trim line, but can't find anything about assembling the shell.

one of the old production line videos they mention that from start to finish it takes about 8-10hrs to fully assemble a car.
a car is completed around every 90 seconds according to the video. given all the parts are there and ready to be assembled.
delays factor into the time also...

4 hours, 35 minutes, and 14 seconds. But if Irene is working, it takes 30 seconds longer. She's old.
