The rear stock GT letters badge looks out of place and horrible? Most owners agree with this. The faux gas cap emblem on the rear on the S197 was a much better rear emblem.

There arent a whole lot of choices being made exactly either other than going badgeless, but then the haters would say posing off a debadged 350 too

sure ok. What anyone puts on their car is simply none of your damn business despite your attempted snarky comment about fake Rolexes; which no one missed the intent of, so don't backpedal now.

And since we're analyzing the other's feelings via posts on the internet, I dont need to throw out personal insults despite you coming here and harassing others about their choices on their cars not even owning a S550 currently. Says all that needs to be said about you.
Who's backpedaling? You asked why someone would buy one car when they could mod another and end up with less invested "if they wanted that look" (to quote you). I pointed out that "wanting that look" is only one aspect and if you relied on that as your only criteria, you'd only own a fake rolex...and so on. You're feelings seem easily hurt based on your aggression....and you need to do some fact-checking.

I have tons of Mustang and other-brand friends. I'm the last one to turn my nose up. You, on the other hand, seem to be trying your hardest to make it seem like it's something else. gtfo.

^^LOL - nice. So first, you can explain my "attitude" by saying that I don't own a S550 - then when you angrily search my previous posts, you realize you're wrong then change your tune to some other excuse why I'm an ass. bugger off.

If you need reminding, I simply stated that one is not the other, regardless - and there isn't anyone that's going to argue that. Implying that I think less about one car or anyone that owns this or that? For that, you don't know me, obviously. Moving on.

I actually like the 'GT' on the rear but that's just me. My scatpack is debadged - all but the 392. I don't think anyone thinks I'm posing as a SRT.

That said - doesn't really matter. None of anyone's business if you put a Lamborghini emblem on your Miata... doesn't mean it's not posing, though.

Went down towards Laguna Seca this morning for breakfast and saw this GT350R flanked by two Porsches GT3RS's. The 350R was driven by a lady with her teenage daughter as the passenger. The 350R had a Willow Springs license plate frame. GT3RS 4.0 was driven by a gentleman, with a wicked roll cage, also looked like his teenage daughter as the passenger. I was driving my 350R so everybody gave everybody big thumbs up. They all seemed to be travelling together. Was 8AM, so I'm thinking it was too late for a track day.
Maybe heading to car week a little early?
