Car is back from the body shop.

They did an acceptable job. Couldn't quite line the rear bumper cover 100% to the body lines of the quarter panels but it's better. You could see the clips through the gap on the bumper cover before.

I also had a decent paint chip, more of a gouge. This was on the drivers fender right where you could imagine the door would open into the top of fender if it was misaligned. The door was straight and no gaps but the paint was missing. Body shop figured as they mounted the door on the manufacturing line they hit the fender. The real kicker is it was touched up with a paint pen and sent to the dealer like that. Good work Ford QC. Garbage quick paint pen touch up on a halo car.

Anyway all is good , dealer and body shop took care of me.

Next step is front splitter - I'm going to do this myself I think.

post some photos of the problem areas please...
See if this works.

I didn't have a good picture of the gap between the rear bumper and quarter panel, but I snapped a good pic of the line up just under the rear wheel well. Atrocious.

This is the fender.

Also to mention the door gap was good but the entire door was in about 1/8". Body shop aligned it back that bit to be 100% flush with fender.
