I like the 18's new features. If I was to order one with the options I want it would almost be $50k. I can't see spending that much on a new car that depreciates so quickly. I owe about $10k left on my 15. Plus I got 0% financing from Ford which is great to use others peoples money. Ford won't offer 0% anytime soon on a 18 model.

I just want to finish paying it off and be debt free car wise and enjoy a paid off car that still looks and drives good that I enjoy and look forward to driving every day.

I just ordered my '18 today. Now the long wait ahead. But it'll be worth it :D. I meant to pick 1-6. But I picked one instead. So just count me on the counts of 1-6 :)

I'm sticking with my 15 because there's nothing about the 18 that really interest me. Now that my car is soon paid off I plan on getting more aggressive in doing some more mods.

I don't own an S550 (I still have my S197 - '14 GT). None of the selections in the poll applied to S197 owners. Oh well. Anyway, I like the 2018 much better than the '15-'17. I am waiting to see what (if anything) Ford does for the 50th anniversary of the '69 Mach 1. If there's a dragstrip ready '19 Mach 1 that's affordable, count me in! The lease on my '16 Challenger Scat Pack ends in '19, so the timing would be perfect! Come on, Ford!

Notice the slow turnover on opinions?
More people are liking the 2018 than the current models.
Imagine when they hit the streets and after some magazine tests?

The most interesting thing about the 2018 for me is the new transmission. The HP and magneride shocks are also interesting, but not as much as the 10 speed auto.

Don't like the new front end on the '18 and I can make my '16 into a better car than the '18 with what I will lose if I trade in. I find the dual injection thing a bit gimmicky, it's really a complex solution to making horsepower that can be easily solved right out of Ford's existing parts bin for way less cash.

Or people just stopped posting their opinions because now its a forum rule... but think what you want.

You can't deny the tech in the '18, it all sounds great on paper. I hope all you '18 buyers have a great experience with it. Still can't get over the front end personally. Plus no comp orange... 'nuff said. OF looks awesome, but it's no CO. I am very interested to see how the new DI/PI setup responds to forced induction.

If I really was in the market for an '18, honestly I would wait to see what PP2 is all about... unless I missed the details on it. :ford:

Keeping my 2017...hell, I just cracked 1000 miles.

Just upgraded to the GT from a '16 V6...I see no reason to spend that much more money on upgrades I don't need in the first place. That and with the 0% financing on the '17 the saved interest and model cost increase could be used towards upgrades making it faster and better handling than a comparable model '18 (bare bones).

Am at 769 miles so not there yet, but enjoying every mile. :D
Planning major upgrades in year 3, close to when the warranty runs out.
Right now just want to enjoy it in stock form, might add Ford Performance Pack 2 and a Roush Axleback next year. Tapped out this year already.

Sticking with my 2017 because the GT350 is unchanged other than color for 2018.

2018 is a nice car. Makes no financial sense to switch to another car so quickly though. Maybe the next gen.

I have way too much invested in mods in my 2015 EcoBoost, and love the final result in both appearance and ride / handling plus power. I do not like what they did with the front end design, I feel like it broke up the natural lines of the S550. I like the idea of the new transmission and the digital cluster is cool, but not cool enough to warrant a change that I lose my investments in.

S650, if they nail it will be my next step.

Really surprised to see people drive so little in such long stretches of time. Perhaps it's just being used to Texas driving but just last week took a 1000mile trip while staying in Texas over a 4 day period. Typically put roughly 30k miles per year and my commute to work is short.
