Wow - how low can they go.
Melbourne dealer has few cars, overstocked, winter etc etc
That's about $11 k under RRP

Yep bought my Ruby Red Ecoboost Vert at the end of last month and dealers with stock were all willing to do deals.

They had one of the lower list prices for what I wanted and I still got them below that, dealers bought up stock and are looking to move it so they're all willing to bargain.

I reckon you could drop a couple of K off those prices as well.

MY18 is just around the corner, so there will be great MY17 deals cumming up for sure. I wonder how many people are jumping of MY17orders onto MY18. Dealers would have to renegotiate many of those MY17 orders.

I suspect that this particular dealer is going to have extremely sore guts by the end of the weekend.

Is 12 months really considered "around the corner"?

im guessing drew meant this dealer is selling porky pies
Just had a quick look on carsales. Lots for sale. Wow! Several NEW GT verts for around $65k d/away, or less and many NEW GT coupes for well under $60k d/away. Looks like supply has well ad truly caught up with demand. Anyone paying near retail now is heading for quick depreciation.

Well, many people looking at or still waiting for a MY17 will be thinking that they will soon have a superseded car. And having all that information about the MY18 at your fingertips doesn't help. As one can see on carsales, discounting on pony's is well and truly alive.

I just picked up a 17' GT vert demo for 60k, so there are some absolutely brilliant deals around at the moment for buyers. I sold my 10/15 build manual GT coupe for more than that back in February.

I When the weather gets better, have fun with the vert. Roof down and that V8 rumble. That's where it's at. Puts a smile on my face every time. Cheapest, new V8 convertible money can buy. By a mile. enjoy! Been lucky enough to enjoy mine for 15months now.

Yeah can't beat it.
Price irrelevant when you got that feeling. Why wait for the better weather?
My roof is down nearly all the time.
Fabulous buying though. Won't be long for the first one below $60k driveaway

I find, top down, is most enjoyable when it's sunny and above about 18c, but not much over 28c. Warm evenings are great to. Enjoy!:headbang:
