What grit paper or disc?

I am thinking of opening the holes up on the whole grille. I do not want a delete. I like the honeycomb look. I already installed mesh vents in the hood to prepare for the added air flow. For those that have done this.. what did you use to grind back of grille plastic?

Would a dremel tool work?

a dremel or a router works great. you can cut off 1/4 - 1/2in off and get clean lines.

I thought about a dremel but it seems like it would take a very long time. I don't have a router. I was hoping to use a flapper disc or grinding disc on either a drill or air grinder.

Back to the original question. :doh:

I would start somewhere around 150 and see what happens. You may have to start rough and go smoother. For general sanding I usually try 150 and see whenever that takes me. :shrug:
