it has an engine!
Even at that power level the stock manifolds are not nearly as efficient. They leave a lot of peak power and under the curve on the table and bring down the efficiency of your turbos causing you to run more boost and work them harder and shortening the life of your turbos and your engine from running more boost. New twins cost more then upgraded manifolds. Turbo rebuilds cost almost just as much. Engine rebuilds...well enjoy that cost. The oe headers are a restriction even NA there is greats gains for the upgrade. Next best mod to the tune itself. If folks honestly believe headers aren't worth the investment because of the "good enough" mentality that's their own hang up and them being on a budget, being cheap or lacking experience. Can you get into the 8-9s on stock headers? Sure. Is it a good idea for long term? Not really. Best stock manifold turbo kit I'd agree IS LPF. Doesn't change fluid dynamics though

Who even cares about shiney headers? They should be coating that shit before it even goes on the car. Function >form

To get back to the topic "lpf twins"...any pics of how the air filters are routed?
I haven't installed my kit yet but I do have a few pics of installed kits. This is no filters but you get the idea plus it seems that you could make a tube that is higher up if you're too concerned about water.

any empirical data to back that claim up?

First: I am not going to go through the motions and break apart your post. Yes the mods should have warned you a long time ago. You made very valid points in that thread in the beginning, but then it was like you got excited by the attention and basically went into overdrive about it, to just insulting people, to as others have said being childish about it. It basically ruined the thread, and you did not contribute anything to it from then on from your points you have already made earlier in the thread.

Second: The year I POSTin my signature has ZEROto do with with my comments on this subject. Beyond the car in my SIG you are CLUELESS to what I own , what I do, or what I work on. The mere fact that you would even make a comment like that just shows pure immaturity on your behalf, and I could bloody care less how old you are.

Thrid: I comment on someone else post, and gave my ONION on what is happening in this thread. As I said in the beginning I am not going to break down your post, because it is there for all to read. If you would had left out certain things in that opening statement, then I would have not said what I said.

I am now finish with this, and will keep THIS thread on topic. I am interested in these different kits, LPR, BlackBird, Hellion, BW offerings for something I deciding on doing.

If you want to make a comment to me, send it to me in a PM, or here's a thought, just keep it to yourself. Because honestly I will really could care less about your thoughts on the subject.

You guess wrong.
hit me with the data then. because i can count 3 or 4 kits that use stock manifolds and havent blown cars up yet.

the top two fastest cars on this forums list are hellion cars, that use stock manifolds, route that exhaust back to the front of the car, and then have an X pipe directly out of the exhaust side of the turbos. not exactly custom manifolds with mid mounted turbos.

im not doubting the efficiency. im doubting that at 750-800-850whp it makes a difference.

If you have data that proves my data wrong, please post it.

Brent, beautiful pics. I am telling all my Mustang buddies about this kit. It is without a doubt the BIGGEST bang for your buck in the Forced Induction world. Wait til this kit gets installed on my car. :D Even President Trump will be tweeting about how bad ass it performs.

Have to Agree with Mustang_Guy. There is a difference between the two, though people have use the others and received decent results.

The shit* talking as you stated started in the threads were BW had issues getting their product out, and a few people decided upon themselves to start a crusade about it. even now as the issues has been resolved, (for most, it seems one member still has parts in the mail) people want to crusade on against BW.

This resulted in a thread being closed, and truthfully, the very nature of this thread is yet again a swipe at BW, by praising the results of another kit being offered. One may call it for what you will, but it really does not pass the smell test as people say.

If we can keep threads on topic and talk about how these kits work on actual cars with owners, it would be great. I am looking for info as I may just pull the trigger on a deal and TT it. That's all I really want out of these threads. The rest of the BS I wish people would just leave it in PM's
Thanks for your observations. Now how do you like LPF kit?
