Yes, that's why I can't stand Audi, especially A1s and TTs or Merc Smarts - just overpriced garbage! The TT is supposed to be a sports car but handles like a drunk on ice. If I see a Porsche 911, the previous Cayman, M2 or E90 M3 I have some respect, if I see a A1, TT or Smart I think what a prat.
My old boss still swears her AMG C class (It's an AMG appearance package C class with some number and a diesel) will still out perform the 'stang, which she's lost on every front except MPG which I got pipped on  Mind you, she legitimately things it's a diesel AMG.

Same goes for Fake M BMWs, or people who fake Quattro / RS badges on an audi. Embaressing.

on which note im off to stick V8 logos on my car :frusty:

I saw a Euro spec mustang with V8 badges on the fenders and a Shelby Cobra Badge on the grill; when I had to get recall work done on my GT350.

It didn't stay long so I'm sure the owner snuck off when he found out that a real Shelby was there.

Stick one of these on the back, the worlds only 6.2l Mustang.

lol, this thread is funny. Wasn't the s550 Mustang inspired by the M4? I read that somewhere but I could be wrong. However, if that is the case, then it's not really a surprise that another BMW looks similar to the Mustang.

On top of that, you guys sound just like all the other people talking shit about Mustang owners.

We're all douchebags in most everyone else's eyes and given many of the comments in here, it seems to make sense. :p

Assholes/Douchebags buy and drive all brands of cars.
Shitty/Dick drivers buy and drive all brands of cars.
Nice drivers buy and drive all brands of cars.

So you're going to have some of all of these in every group, so why don't we all just shut the f**k up already and enjoy our cars and stop talking shit about other excellent cars? It's wasted energy and only serves to distract us from enjoying what we have.

Always the same, no matter what group you associate with: every other human being not in the group, clearly, must be tards.

I'm thinking of strapping v16 on either side, rear emblem badge as the 'EB' billet badge that looks like the Bugatti logo #Fakegatti :lol:

lemers there's a guy who lives near one of the owners around here, who's stuck 5.0's on his, has a gt decklid, drives and ecoboost and hasn't even modded the exhaust...

I don't think the M4 design inspired the Mustang. The M4 was a bench mark in performance for the 6 gen mustang.

Coming to the defence of BMW, I actually think they produce some decent cars - the M2, for example, is a great car as was the E90 M3. Much prefer BMW to Audi and Mercedes which just produce airheads cars like the TT. The problem with BMW is it seems to have become a magnet for chavs.
Good drive, sorted ride, build quality knocks Mustang into a cocked hat ;)
But soulless. Been in one you've been in them all. Couldn't bring myself to buy a new one.
That's why we have Mustangs. Same car but all different.

PS
...he doesn't get English banter...
British banter, tard ;)

Agree my friend, to be fair we rarely get like this & bash other groups - bit of a quiet spell on the forum & we took the chance to vent!

The UK side of the forum is pretty well behaved in general, that goes for the drivers too, and we tend to be respectful on the roads.

Gotta bear in mind though, it's a different world over this side of the pond. You could go for weeks without seeing a Mustang on the road. Whilst the German cars dominate the roads and do have a bad rep, us Mustang drivers genuinely are a very small group...

LOL! While I may not understand British humor, I do enjoy it.

You sound like a Mercedes driver :headbonk:
That is the one German brand I've never cared all that much for. I'm a dubber at heart (500whp 1.8t GTI in the garage). I picked up the GT as my daily while the 1.8t is in the shop.

Yea, that's a fair point. There are way too many Mustangs on the road over here.

Also, to everyone who doesn't understand my humor, I'm a super smartass and poke fun at everyone, including myself. So it's all in jest.

Yes I have relatives in the States and they can't understand the obsession with the Mustang over here because it's such a common car there. So i have to explain that when most people drive diesel saloons a V8 coupé for less than £40k is a big deal, especially one that looks as good as the '15.

It's no "original 8 series", which is drop dead, but it's not ugly (come on!). It'll likely be around £140k, so you pays your money and all that. It'll sell (the 6 series, for those that care, went quietly out of production so this is just a badge engineering thing)
Starting at £97K apparently, 3K cheaper than the Merc equivalent. The profile is a ringer for the Mustang, shark mouth et all. A great compliment and apart from the price, it'll be more than competent, would I have one over a GT350R, nope, would I have one in my 'Euromillions' garage, nope, would I have one for free?, yup, sell it and buy a GT350R and a fully restored classic 64/65.

Starting at £97k, so I wasn't far off then? Being a BMW, you'll need to spend £2k to get wheels, and another £4k for some sort of advanced tech package... and so on. ;)
