2016 Mustang GT PP Dyno

Dynoed my 2016 GT PP completly stock.
93oct.

Did the pull on 4th gear.

Seems low they told my the dyno rollers are 8000lbs heavy and thats why it got me a low number was expecting 380 390 whp
Also iam at 3300feet above sea level i dont know if they corrected the values for this high altitud.
What are your opinions?


Also do automatic mustangs dyno lower?

If I am not mistaken, I think they should have done a 5th gear pull. Your numbers would've been higher.

Also do automatic mustangs dyno lower?

1) They should have dynod in 5th gear for a 1:1 pull

2) For a NA car, they need to apply a correction factor for elevation changes.

3) Roller weight shouldn't matter. All of that should be factored into the dyno software.

Yes. Autos lose more power through the drivetrain than a manual. Not a lot but they do. Maybe around 10whp difference.

In fifth gear, you would have put more down.

It is what it is, just a reference tool. If you do mods and want to see the results, make sure you go back to that same dyno and run it in the same gear as you did.

Mine put down 409 in 4th gear and 391 in 5th gear on 89 octane (during our gas crises) on a Dynojet... how's about them weird apples?

Are you guys pulling the 50 amp fuse to disable everything when doing these pulls?
Was at a dyno meet last week. 2016 on there with tune, longtubes, CAI and put down 401/400/400. I went and yanked the fuse and next run he put down 419.

If they did it in 5th gear you would of been right on track with bone stock numbers 375 rwhp 350 Ish torque
