Ok, came across this on eBay in a totally unrelated search and it peaked my interest, so I clicked to view.

It's labeled as a "front bumper stiffener", but from what I can tell it has nothing to do with the front bumper... LOL

It looks like the design is some type of unibody frame rail or floor pan device. The seller also makes it appear as if it's a Ford related part by giving it a part number resembling how Ford would tag their parts.

Looks like it's trying to function, at least in part like the BMR CB006 or Steeda G-Trac. Interesting arrangement...

In my JDM days Cusco had it all. People would add 50-100lbs of bracing and it was honestly for show.

There are certain braces than can help but that doesn't look like it's doing much.

I always found that installing a roll bar gave me much more rigidity than any of these braces.
