Once a year, around anniversary of buying date. At least that's what I've done with my past cars, this one is only 8 months old, so 4 more months to go before first change. What is your oil change schedule for your garage queen?
Just say ... my car was made to be driven .. then get in and drive it. Not much discipline needed! :cheers:How do you guys discipline yourself?
I got my car in June with 18 miles on it. I just hit 17k this weekend and it's not my daily! I just can't stay out of it when I have time to drive.
B/c my daily driver is a lot more convenient to drop the kids off in the morning (time crunch / carpool line). Its just a lot easier to get 2 kids in & out the backseat. Now if it was my only car, and I drove it to work regularly, I'd probably go out to lunch far away just so I could drive the car more. How do you guys discipline yourself?

Just put em in the trunk and pop it as you are driving through the drop off lane, Tell them "tuck n Rol, Tuck n Roll"!!!B/c my daily driver is a lot more convenient to drop the kids off in the morning (time crunch / carpool line). Dude, I just looked at ALL the goodies you have on your car and have NO idea how you could have only 1,400 miles in 8 months. I would be driving the damn thing!17 GT for 8 months and 1400 miles
Apparently too busy modding instead of driving.Dude, I just looked at ALL the goodies you have on your car and have NO idea how you could have only 1,400 miles in 8 months. I would be driving the damn thing!
Same here, though I wash it more often and put C-quartz on it, so not waxing anymore. It's my daily drive but I treat it like a garage queen. I park FAR away and wash/wax once a month.
True story....37,000 miles, 2-1/2 years and still NO DOOR DINGS... that is from parking as far away from the dumbshits as possible, and/or finding an end spot and leaning toward the median curb.
Yeah I've had that happen with Mustangs and even a Camero and Challenger or two. Drivers who've dropped some coin on their rides and want to keep them nice... we all gotta watch out for each other.True story....
I normally won't take my 2014 to 'soccer mom car speedway', otherwise known as Walmart. But last year on the way to a show I needed to stop there.
I parked in an almost empty lot far, far from the store with no cars near me at all. When I came out I looked off in the distance towards my space and sure as shit there was someone next to me. WTF?!?!
As I got closer I realized that it was a spotless '13 Boss 302 on my left flank. The owner spotted me, and apologized. "Hope you don't mind", he said. "Judging by the way your GT looks, I knew I'd be safe parking here."
The Boss guy essentially protected his car by protecting mine. I thanked him, saying I'd have done the same thing.
