Do you mind explaining what it is you are saying now? Because at this point I'm lost.So you are serious. Nice.
Take it easy home slice.
This is probably the biggest point folks actively ignore or don't understand. The Cup 2s in that specific size and load rating are some of the lightest tires out there, period. Anyone that slaps 888s, RE71Rs, Hoosiers, etc., onto those Carbon wheels are shooting 9/10s of the point of that wheel set right out the window by adding weight to the rotating mass at THE worst possible area. The point is they are not the lightest when you consider them the correct size. Sure even forgeline could say theirs are lighter as a 11x19 until you factor in the correct offsets.
Besides tire weight has to be factored in also. I have 11x19 forgeline GA1R open lugs with 305/30 sport cup 2 and they weigh 46 pounds each rear and 47.5 pounds each for the front. Difference is from the offset.
I wish on the free shipping but our pricing is so competitive it balances out on the shipping. We ship to a lot of clients in Europe and all over the world actually.Perhaps instead of 'lightest' they are 'another potential lightweight option.' Yeah, more homework to be done before deleting 'potential'.
If and when a price comparison is done, shipping charges (and import taxes) will matter. OP is in Romania. Oz are made in Italy and there are dealers all over Europe.
1. The more options the better.
2. What is a good option for some may not be a good option for others...unless PK is willing to throw in free shipping...
I don't know yet, nor do I know the exact weight for the GT350 offset. My point is you said these wheels are the lightest in the gt350 sizes. My point is they may be light but they are not both light and strong. Forgeline, CCW and others can also make a lighter wheel, but for a wheel you also need strength.
What are the load ratings for the wheels you posted?
True but we're splitting gray hairs now. Of course everything will revolve around the budget but how much is too much per what you get, is just pure personal choice.Yes but their also 16k so a budgetwise investment is always good to look into.
CF Wheels are 18 lbs
Forgeline wheels are 21.3 lbs yes their 3.3 lbs more but also wheels that have been utilized for track usage thus showing their strength and quality as well.
:lol:The point is they are not the lightest when you consider them the correct size. Sure even forgeline could say theirs are lighter as a 11x19 until you factor in the correct offsets.

Thanks for the constructive input! I learned another thing from my what seemed to be considered by some, nonsense thread.Offset is a valid point but that was never your point. Another valid point is brake clearance.
I'm only defending OZ to bring freshness and constructive brainstorming to the table. And because I think individuals should be able to bring ideas to the table.
OZ and many manufacturers use unique forging for different offsets. This reduces or eliminates the huge wheel spacer-like chunk of metal near the lug nut area. I'm not criticizing companies that have the big slab of metal. Just pointing out the facts. That style has less of a weight shift due to offset. The difference in offset is made up by the spoke shape, not the hub. The drawback is extra cost to manufacture.
I know you're going to say but but forgeline. Great, I'm sure, correction I know, they're a great product. We can talk about OZ and that doesn't take anything away from Forgeline or any other company.
+1 I'm actually directly interested in that! How much is shipping to Bucharest?
This is a great question. I'd like to know that too...Paul, of the sets of Forgelines you have sold to GT350 owners, what sizes (F/R) and offsets are the most popular ? What would you recommend for a mostly street car, occassional track days ?
That would be cool. But knowing them as Italians, I'm not holding my breath for any cooperation. How about I end this and confirm if they will work ?
I have brake blueprints from my 350 I can send it to them if anyone knows he email and they can confirm if it's possible.
Requirements however
Must be hubcentric
Must have proper offsets and widths
Sound fair ?
