Were u speed shiftinv of power shifting??

No...I was fully into it. Granny shifting...went into third, released clutch and hit throttle...boom....grinding city. All gears work but third so I was able to drive it home. Sounded like a box of marbles. Probably going the 6060 route now unless I can find a cheap MT82 to get by with for a bit.

Sorry bud. Been there. What fluid are you running? BG is what my shop recommends. They (BG) even offer a tranny warranty, though I haven't looked into the details. I went through a few manual trannys back in the day. Ended it all with a powerglide.

Running the Amsoil mixture that Ben C recommends.
Yeah...kinda wish I went the auto route now.

How soon do you want it?

I may have cracked the block(or head gaskets ) in the KB car as it is leaking coolant (Block has water jacket supports ) .
I won't know sure till it's out but going to swap in sleeved 5.2 block along with the built Magnum XL at the same time .
Damn ....I was really looking forward to trying for 9's with the MT82 .
Best pass of only 3,with this motor was 10.6@137 with 4 inch pulley on 18 inch drag radials (crappy 1.7 60 ft )
I was really hoping to get there with the 3.5 pulley /and less weight .(I have Baer rear/front drag brakes to run 15 inch wheels/slicks and skinnies ).
I will also have the MGW/drive shaft for sale .

Once I step up my game, I will be aiming for that in my DD. My cars are not shop cars, I am just an avid enthusiast.

For now, thinking about having Racing Integration prep a spare one for me. I will give it hell with my 418whp! lmao

I do have a question, what are the fast guys using in terms of a single disk clutch? OR is everyone going Twin Disk?

Collin built mine early this month and I've paired it with an MGW. It should be seeing some trips to the track to aim for 9s passes as soon as I'm able to acquire a fuel system, IAT2 adapter, and a tune.

Hey man if u dont mind me asking how much for the tr6060,i though i seen them on his site for 1,700.But i think u still have to get the driveshaft,clutch,and shifter.

You have 15" rear drag wheels? What did you do with the rear emergency brake? Does it still work or not with the Baer units?

Not yet installed but I understand I wont have an e-brake.
Car is not a daily -trying to build a race car so I figure no big deal .
I will just leave in gear when parked .
