Installing the 14inch rear set up, 7lbs savings per axle or 14lbs total in the rear. During the hour and half endurance race we had no fade whatsoever. We are running the 14 inch set up in the front as well. Awesome package!

Got a link to these? How much are they and do they work with stock rear calipers?

SteedaTech Is that a new prototype rear shock mount?

They are already selling those, lots of good feedback from owners as it not only looks stunning but also helps reduce the rear-end jiggle as it has an uprated bearing inside over stock. :)

Look at the pic then look at the ones on their website. Not the same. Those in the pic look like they are lighter and may allow more travel.

I'm sure if titanium can be made cheaply using the same CNC machine, they would. But the weight difference would be negligible and any added strength isn't actually necessary.

The part that needs more strength, after installing these, is the lower shock mounting point on the control arm.

I know weight difference would be negligible. Losing the first 200lbs is easy, losing the second 200lbs is hard.

Good point...

Which is why an ex of mine could get better times in my previous car. She was 110 lbs. I am 200. I also had to let her win if I were to ever get laid again...

You are correct, no parking brake race application only.

Do these have dust seals on the pistons? I recall these brakes on other models did not have that and caused a bunch of problems on street driven cars.

No rubber dust shields, they will melt under competition.

This set up is more for the weekend warrior and severe duty racing.
