I think everyone ASSUMED a GT350 would be track ready, since that is what all the literature and promotions said. Ford did the same thing with the Boss, gave it a great engine and was supposedly ready for the track with a 7250 rpm redline, however, you cannot change gears over 5000 rpm. Ford makes a halo car that is always flawed. I won't buy another Ford.....

Wow really?
Because you didn't read up on the car before checking the option boxes?

Some people just read the marketing material and press releases brother - and listen to the GMs of the dealerships in their respective towns.

I did. Then I took Ford to an arbitration and won based on misleading marketing materials lol.

Why get your panties in such a bunch? This thing has been beaten to death. Ford fucked up. All good. Transmission is out now. People could do an arbitration and win, lots of options for everyone, but, very clear Ford fucked up - especially with the amount of our cars that ended up overheating on the streets.

There were no option boxes for me to check, my Boss came with the only options, Torsen and Recaros. (I do not consider a car cover an option) Why not read a post in its entirety before posting nonsense and looking foolish?

Take your own advice.
I'm not the one looking foolish because I ordered the correct car for me, a Track pack. I read and researched before ordering my car in June 2015. Something you obviously failed to do.
I'm talking about the GT350 not a Boss. After all that's what this thread is about.
You ordered the wrong options. The one you failed to order is called TRACK PACK

Once again, you failed to read. I do not own a GT350, but if I did, I probably would have ordered a Base model, and assumed based on all the literature, that it was a track worthy car that would not go into limp mode on the highway just because the temperature outside was over 80 degrees. I read and researched the Boss before buying, and nobody ever mentioned the piss poor transmission that came in the Boss, and the difficulty changing gears at high RPM's. THIS is earily similar to the issues that the GT350 is having....a halo car, that has failed due to cost saving blunders by Ford. How much would it have cost Ford to put a decent tranny in the Boss, and a cooler on ALL of the GT350's? The fact that they put a tranny fluid cooler on the very next year tells me, they know they messed up, but won't financially take care of the owners of expensive driveway queens! You obviously are just smarter than everyone else...good for you.

Wow watching this devolve from passive-aggressive to outright nastiness.
Where is the shame? Good old fashion personal responsibility and shame used to keep people in check. Now people are willing to call themselves helpless ignorant fools just to score some self-perceived victimhood status. Now we know why manufactures don't like to sell relatively cheap sports cars. That's why GT350 is more expensive now and guaranteed GT, GT350 & GT500 will be more expensive or detuned in the future. Wether Ford thinks it's a problem or not. They now have a great excuse to charged everyone for a fluid cooler that only half the people need or want. It's the "I needed it but was too cheap to buy it so I complain and now everyone is forced to buy it and I use that as reasoning that I was right." circular argument.

Not to mention the vett and camaros also have / had cooling issues.

I'm still lòoking for the Ford Statement that says that the most track capable mustang will hit limp mode on a track very quickly if you don't have the coolers

Shelby GT350 supplement

Pg 25: "Operating at High Speeds and on Track Days
Your vehicle is capable of sustained high speeds and track day driving if equipped with powertrain coolers (Track, R model)."

Also pg25: "- For sustained high speeds or track day use with a Base or Tech model, we recommend that transmission and differential coolers are added. Your vehicle has electronic controls to reduce power and/or limit RPM to reduce powertrain temperatures if required."

How 'bout you guys stop having the same stupid f*ckin' argument over and over again.

Especially the newbies. Please don't roll in here and rehash the same nonsense that's been posted time and time again in the past year or two.

This whole thread is a re-run.
I don't know what all you guys expect! This thread is 2684 post old! Noting is going to change anything unless you do it yourself or have someone do it for you. It's the same bitching now for over a year !
