Welp, I just got my APIM, screen and carplay hub from the eBay seller today and he included the GPS antenna as well as the little adapter for the carplay hub. That stuff wasn't even mentioned in the listing. (He did state that he had previously used it all for a Sync 3 conversion in a Mustang so it makes sense though. Maybe he's on here.)

So thanks to that dude! Glad I didn't get in a hurry and start ordering more stuff.

No, for the carplay hub that goes in the center console.

I need to get brackets and hardware to mount the screen right? Mine didn't come with any.

you can not get the brackets seperatley, ford does not sell them. Youre best bet is to find a cheap damaged sync2/ sync3 unit unless you get lucky and can find someone selling them used on ebay or something

I thought the dual USB hub didn't work with Sync 3 in Mustang. Wasn't HU5Z-19A387-A the correct hub?
Screws are the same.

The dual hub works but it disables the front USB port because there is not a connector for that cable.

Sorry if this has been been answer previously but does the replacement MFT have to be programmed to match to your VIN? Reason I ask is if purchase one from a member or off of ebay, do i need to send it to someone to reprogram?

The dual hub works but it disables the front USB port because there is not a connector for that cable.

The front port still charges, just won't perform Carplay. Atleast on mine.

[MENTION=11470]mkenny28[/MENTION] [MENTION=19869]thet33[/MENTION] Thanks guys I knew it was something like that. It's because the dual hub is for cars that had the dash or bezel redesigned and one of the USB ports was removed. That's why Fusions got dual hub and Mustang got HU5Z
