Curious if anybody with an Ecoboost switched from a BAMA tune to the new Ford Performance tune, and can share results or feedback.

I've got the RACE and PERFORMANCE tunes from BAMA, and I actually prefer the PERFORMANCE tune since it is very balanced between daily driver and a Sunday afternoon of "I hope there are no cops on this road". :)

I checked out the big thread and it's just so huge now, hard to find info.

The majority of ecoboosts here will tell you that switching from a Boom tune to a OK tune will not make a different.

I have the Ford performance and it is a well mannered tune for daily drivers. I always liked Bama on my 5.0 but never tried on my Eco. Bottom line if your happy with it use it. Don't get caught up in the drama some of these ego heads have. Enjoy

Thanks for the input, part of my thought is that you at least get a 36 month warranty with the Ford tune and the peak gains look good also. Then again I dig my current tune and have owned the car about 22 months already.

I don't get the drama either, I think it's reasonable to ask for input. I thought that's why forums existed.

A lot of the dealers on this board seem to enjoy shitting on Bama as well. Bama has been good to me and after feedback their next revision struck the balance I asked for.

What's with your fuckin' headbonk...
if I lived closer I'd drive to you and give you a hug
I was bonking my own head - long story and not worth the explanation

There are really only 2 valid options for the ecoboost

Lund via N-Gauge or Cobb via Tune+

I'm sorry if that upsets people but results are what they are...

and please man, take it easy, I only posted a few emoji's for fun:ford:

There were a few 5.0 mustangs with Bama Tunes up at Woodburn Oregon Raceway last year that were hauling ass.No ecoboost were there.

I doubt it's that big a deal for those of us who aren't looking for the absolute fastest 1/4 mile times.

That being said, Lund is my current top choice for when I tune later this year.

You are better off sticking with emoji's, instead of making ridiculous comments. Hope your company does not pay you to post here....

Dang Ron you caught some heat in here lol, No point on switching too a ford racing tune after you've already tuned it with bama and lost your factory warranty... and Ron is right a good tune comes from the 2 he listed.
