I'm the same Kaps. Another Brisbane car waiting. It's annoying knowing it's on the docks as you check the shipping site a lot more regularly waiting for shipping details to pop up. My fingers are still crossed for Tamesis though.

Just had a phone call from my dealer saying April 30, considering it's already on the water and about to hit the colon I would say they are 6 weeks behind the ball.

Morons is the polite name to call them.

Just a thought, after reading through some of this thread lately... is there any way some dealers are not giving out the nsc/vin numbers...to the customers that don't know about the forums or tracking the car....then receive the cars and onsell them at the dealership now while the demand for the Mustang is high at a big 10-15g's profit , and order another and keep customer who put deposit down wait extra 3 or 4 months,because they already sealed the deal...& they aren't going to cancel.
Any thoughts on this and is it possible?

They can't do it as your order goes to Ford who while they may be slow letting you know what is going on do start to give you updates. It is your car from the day it is ordered unless you cancel it and I would assume they would need to submit a new sign order form if they cancelled your order.

Some dealers certainly are slower than others in giving out the NSC codes, however, talking to my dealer before Xmas, the prices Ford AU have set for the 'Stang are pretty much set in concrete.

A dealer (apparently) can certainly on-sell or re-sell a "used" or "demo" vehicle at any price they want, but apparently there are harsh business penalties for dealers caught selling brand new vehicles way in excess of the dictated prices.

What's to stop a dealer from ordering 10 new mustangs in their employees names.when they arrive the paperwork is done and charges are paid. No dealer delivery.
Dealer then buys back and on sells as demos at greatly inflated prices
No cost involved for employee and only govt charges etc for dealer
Just a big ole paper shuffle.
I don't think this will happen now as there is nearly 200 GTs for sale on car sales at the moment but could have been a possibility earlier
