I've just been watching a YouTube video of someone picking up a brand new Pagani Huayra and all of the special stuff that they got from Pagani I.e. an attractive little box for their car keys, champagne, special soft Pagani overalls for the mechanics to use when the car goes in for servicing, etc...but do we get anything special on pick up day? Never bought a new car before but I'm half expecting to sign the paperwork and then be told that I have 5 minutes to move the car or it'll be towed lol.

I presume pick up day is
1. Go round the car to make sure you're happy with everything
2. Sign any final bits of paperwork accepting the car
3. Be shown how the controls work and where the lights, wipers, etc are.
4. Drive off.

IF you're lucky - depends hugely on the dealer. Mine was as you state - except I was completely and totally uninterested in being told how the lights worked, so I said "no thanks" and drove it home. I much prefer discovering it myself!

Pick up day for me:
1. Walk in
2. Sign stuff
3. Get Mustang Mug, Keyring (that I already had.... lol), USB Stick, spare key, and the plate holders handed to me
4. Get in, brief chat, drove to the petrol station next door, sales woman filled it up
5. Drove hom

(I checked over the car using my checklist // another sticky, the day before).

Those who ordered a CL car got a little model (or some did) and some other freebies, it's dealership specific, so best bet is to expect nothing.

Pagani make such a mammoth mark up on each car the ÂŁ1-2k on 'Custom freebies' just enhance the experience a little bit - Which, baring in mind they sell very few cars, is a much bigger thing to them.
Also Pagani - Million quid cars, Mustang 33k car.

Some other people had the following when they got their mustang:
1. Facebook post from the group with pictures
2. Flowers
3. Car covered and revealed
4. Sign post welcoming etc
5. Car in show room to drive out of
6. Silverstone track day (I got this as well, but it was in one of Fords ecoboost, not mine as mine was delivered the following week)

Knowing my luck I'm going to get sweet F all, I seem to be the one updating myself and doing all the contacting.

It may be because I'm at fever pitch now and just want to get into my v8 goodness

Does anyone have any idea how long the ships usually sit in Baltimore?

Has someone else taken over the Mustang desk? Previously I had replies within a day or so, now I am getting no reply at all, my last email was over a week ago.

Not a clue, Karen and Stacey are apparently still there, but mind you, that mailbox is secondary to their role, and always has been one of their 'added' bits to the job. Haven't had contact with either of them for a while . But from reading posts (all of them, yes I read everything ), some people have been getting responses from them this week.

I guess the point with Karen and Stacey is not to keep e-mailing them every week about updates, as it must become quite frustrating for them!

I emailed them in October and then last week, that's hardly every week. :)
