Borla S-Type or Corsa Sport. Nice and aggressive, but not obnoxious when you don't want it to be. Zero drone.

You can buy a J&M 304 stainless steel Xpipe for $149.
Then buy a cat back to save some $$.

I would rather not buy anything cut and clamp. I would like to put it back to stock if I ever trade it back in.

The only thing that is more exhausting than shopping for exhaust is tires and wheels. Looking at those actually makes me nauseous.

Can't not put this here. ^^ Video is just the catback - 304 stainless steel, lifetime warranty, perfect fitment. I now have Krona 1 7/8ths headers on this kit and I can't relay just how spot-on this kit sounds now. The tone that comes out of it is nasty.

I have yet to hear from anyone that my Corsa isn't loud. All everyone tells me is that my car is loud af. Then again sometimes I do light throttle shift at 5k just to make that beautiful note :) . I can't honestly imagine the Corsa extreme .. it's even louder and imo .. way too obnoxious. But if you are the stereotypical mustang guy who just wants NASCAR loud 'because racecar bro' then it might be for you.

I do drive mine through the winter and I park my car a a certain angle not directing the rear towards a house across the street. My driveway is 40 ish feet long and so is the neighbor across the street (more like 50+) and I still hate the cold starts because I know I'm annoying the shit out of everyone on my street. At the very least I try and always drive like a granny on my own street to not give them anymore reason to want to complain lol. Then again my brother is a cop and my neighbor lol so I'm not really worried about it. If you like I've been planning a quality sound clip of my sport I'll make one tonight or tomorrow .

And don't go axle back. It's a waste of money imo. Hacking your heavy factory exhaust made of mild steel that is a smaller diameter. and you lose the option to remove a cat back and sell it. The double x pipe changes the exhaust note and sets you up if you go headers down the road.

Another less known option is Exceladyne. No experience with it, but it looks interesting and sounds great in the product vid. Same company that made the new ecoboost intake featured on the front page.

For less than any other kit, you can get the MBRP street and two bullets to kill the rasp. Done deal. Thinking about adding race bullets to kill the rasp on mine.

I just put the Corsa sport Catback on my car and it ounds great, dead silent when cruising or when applying light throttle but it definitely makes some noise when I get on it. It's not as loud as I would have thought, but I have only heard it rom inside the car so far.

I've considered the MBRP but I've heard bad things about drone and alignment. Do you experience the same?

.
I have the Street. It drones between 1500 and 1800 rpm in 6th or just when you're geared too high for your speed.

It's got almost 10k miles on it. The sound has changed over time. It was raspy at high rpm at first but 5000 or so miles in, it got deeper across the board.

Yesterday at work, we were outside at the coffee truck and an s550 GT came screaming down the street. We've all seen it in town at some point. The guy drives like a demon, and the car roars under load. Anyway..I said "does mine sound anything like that?" And they said "yeah..almost EXACTLY like that," which made me giggle. I said "sweeeet..I never get to hear it. I need to get someone to drive it around while I stand outside," and three people in unison said "I'll do it!" Hahahaha.

But I'll probably let one of them at some point.

It's definitely louder outside the car than it seems inside, as it does such a great job sending all the sound rearward.

I have had FRPP touring and now have corsa sport/SP headers. I think the FRPP touring sounded way better at start up, idle, and below 4k rpm. It didn't "drone" on the highway and i was a little freaked out by how quiet it was on the highway to be so loud at WOT.

The corsa also does not drone...and man does it shine in the higher rpm, it's amazing that any exhaust can make that much noise at WOT then allow you to talk on the phone clearly when cruising!
Paired with catless headers, the corsa sport is intoxicating.

No spelling error. Its a new brand that started making Mustang exhaust a few years ago. Check out AM for a full video. Its a good looking exhaust that is full 304ss with a lifetime warranty!
