Are you still running the base one that came with the kit?

Currently at 11PSI and will probably just to 13. I have the race BOV, but it's too loud for my taste.

Is there any harm in using the base bypass valve at 11/13PSI? I currently don't have any driveability issues at 11PSI, but am unsure if other issues can be had.

Going to a Tial QR is pricey and if there are really no benefits I can't justify it.

Thanks for your insight!

I did a comparison video of the stock vs race bov from paxton on 11-12 psi. I was having some compressor surge because the stock bov wouldn't flow enough to release the pressure and it was blowing back out of the air intake. Over time, that will damage the blower. Now that I have the race valve, it's been surge free. From my experience, I would stick with the race bov or go with a Tial if you don't like the race valve sound.

I thought the stock bypass was good & has been tested up to 20 psi without issues?
I'm not denying what your saying by any means but how do you know that you were having compressor surge?
I'm only asking because I don't want the same issues running the stock by pass at 12 lbs.

Because I could hear it and feel the air blowing back out of the air filter if I had someone rev the engine. I can only give my experiences with the BOV. I'm at 12psi and it didn't work for me. The race does work for me. I'm sure like most cases, experiences vary.

That's good to know, I just ordered a WG from BC might as well do the BOV now. Terry do you offer Tial or any other BOV other than the upgraded Race bypass (not my sound preference)? I would like to purchase the pipe, flange & bov ready to install like your WG setup if possible. If not I can weld it myself, just need the parts.

I found a previous post from Jeff_oddo that was helpful. There are Greddy flanges already available to get everything to bolt up without needing to weld.

What outlet hose diameter did you go with? I assume you went with the -2 psi spring for supercharger?

Also, where are you recirculating to?

Mine isn't recirculating... I used the largest size port they sell and I have the -2 spring. I opted for the QR since it isn't as loud as the standard Q bov.
