Paxton 2200sl bypass valve question

I got the beefcake special and I'm doing the install with a buddy in a week, been reading over the instructions and with the bypass valve there is a step to recirculate the air back into the intake tube as a stock kit is designed.. my question is what if I don't and just leave it open ( I would like it loud as possible) would that hurt anything?

no the MAF does not recalculate the air. Lots of folk venting ;)

That's strange, my instructions were to vent to atmosphere. Came with a small filter for the bypass valve. It does sound nice and loud.
