What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

I got a deal on a SCT tuner and JLT intake for $300. However, my car only has 10,500 on it and I don't want to void the warranty, so it will just be sitting in the corner for another ~25k :(.

You won't "void your warranty". IF something goes wrong with your engine, it might not be covered. But Ford would have to prove that the tuner caused the problem.

And as long as the tune is mild, it won't hurt anything. I tuned my car the day I bought it, no worries. Tunes are very safe now.

This is beating a dead horse by now.... but:

Yes, the dealer has to prove the tuner caused the problem... but at the same time, the dealer has the power to make this process very difficult for you, especially if the broken car with a tune is your daily driver or only car. It's obviously in your best interest, financially, to get that car fixed asap. Proving that an engine problem was not caused by a tune is not an easy process.

That said, I'm glad I tuned mine. I'm at 20k miles with no issues yet (knock on wood). Most tunes are safe and I wouldn't personally worry about it.

Got my X-PIPE today !

The UPS Dude dropped off my Ford Racing resonator delete X-pipe today and I installed it and all I can say is WOW !!!!!! With the ROUSH axel back and X-Pipe the car now sounds like it has some balls , BIG BALLS. The neighbors are gonna love me .

You will love the sound of it with the ROUSH axle back n X-pipe. I have $729 +tax in the 2. Also easy jack stand install. I was told and also read that this was one of the best sounding systems and I think it is. JMOP

Installed a mirror mount radar detector and wire tap kit.

I installed an H pipe with my Roush Axle back this weekend as well. Holy crap are the cold starts loud as hell. Its ok when driving and zero drone but man those cold starts in my garage are going to piss off my neighbors! LOL:lol:

Also installed MRR 350 wheels a few weeks after suspension upgrade.Running MPSS 285/35 and MPSS 305/35. Using chrome Gorilla lug nuts and all I can say is the car is just right now, love it.

Procharger HO Complete Kit (N Gauge & 1000cc injectors)
Upgraded to Stage 2 Bigger Intercooler
Upgraded to helical gears in the P1SC


Wallet is hurting, but face is smiling
