LC (rpm at 3000)
then flick traction control to off

Displays shows track off but...then shows launch control not available.
And LC changed to RPM?
Any ideas? is that because my RPM setting is too low?

BTW, today finally got some time to install the BMR bushing lockout...it changed the rear day and night. Probably one of must install mods.

I thought that traction control needed to be on for launch control to work?

Yes. It would serve no purpose on an auto.
Hmmm, in theory LC should be even more useful on auto. But probably need a more expensive transmission to implement on auto

I think you need to be in track mode, not sport plus.
I will give this a go. You are probably right.

But that RPM icon is clearly trying to tell me a message.
The car manual almost has nothing in it....worst car manual eva

Traction control needs to be on for Launch Control to work and this is where it fails. Gets you off the line initially but then chances are u will break traction so it will kill ur power and ull end up much slower. I tried all different scenarios at the track and traction control off and no LC was best

Yes. It would serve no purpose on an auto.
Left foot on brake hard, right foot on accelerator to desired rpm then lift left foot off brake and enjoy.

Launch control on an auto.

You also have to be on a dead flat surface so the car won't roll at all
