Im usually good with these things, but I cant figure how to do the update! lol

I just plugged in the usb device in the front usb and that was all. Try changing the source of the audio to the usb if does not work automatically.

THIS UPGRADE IS FOR NORTH AMERICAN 2016 FORD/LINCOLN MODELS WITH SYNC3 V1.0 OR V 1.1 FACTORY NAVIGATION ONLY.
THIS WILL UPGRADE FROM VERSIONS 1.0/1.1 TO VERSION 2.2
YOU WILL NEED A FAT32 OR EXFAT FORMATTED 2GB OR MORE USB FLASH DRIVE
USING A WINDOWS BASED COMPUTER UNZIP THE UPGRADE FILE TO THE ROOT FOLDER OF FLASH DRIVE
YOU WILL END UP WITH AUTOINSTALL FILE AND SYNCMYRIDE FOLDER IN THE ROOT OF THE USB DRIVE
TAKE FLASH DRIVE TO YOUR VEHICLE AND REMOVE ANYTHING PLUGGED INTO THE USB PORTS
START YOUR VEHICLE AND INSERT UPGRADE FLASH DRIVE
UPGRADE PROCESS WILL BEGIN AND TAKE APPROXIMATELY 15-20 MINUTES
ONCE UPDATE IS DONE (A MESSAGE WILL APPEAR) YOU MAY REMOVE THE FLASH DRIVE AND TURN THE VEHICLE OFF
LEAVE THE VEHCILE OFF FOR APPROXIMATELY 5 MINUTES AND RESTART

Looks like they changed Apple CarPlay... prob due to nobody has stock of the new USB Interfaces. Orders take a while... even though it is the same update. Android Auto still says 2016 in your screenshot.

And yes I put instructions in the download knowing that it would get out in the wild and people would have no clue what to do. If you DL a zip file and unzip it and see READ ME....hopefully your do just that!

It is either:
GR3Z-19A387-A
OR
GR3Z-19A387-B
Just not sure which is which as their are no pictures.
Would be cool if someone with a 2017 Mustang popped their USB hub out... got the engineering part number off it so a parts guy can look to see which of these it matches for ordering.
