Does anyone know if the Performance Pack springs are the same ride height as the standard GT springs?

I believe they are slightly shorter/lower...slightly.

They def feel stiffer
Stiffer than base gt I assume?

They lower about an inch from what I have read...the question is, does it handle better than the PP and how do they compare ride wise?

They do have a different spring rate but still pretty soft IMO.

In general, the PP suspension is still lacking for what I am comfortable with in a car with this much power and for what I do with it. Even with the mods I have I still want a more controlled feel even for DD duties.

They're definitely stiffer than a regular GT, and perhaps a bit lower, too. That might just be perception, though, because the regular GT's tires are much higher in profile than the performance package tires.

I read here in the forums somewhere that the PP springs were the same as in the Ford Performance Street Handling Pack (see here) minus the lowering springs, which can be had separately here. Based on the descriptions, I would conclude PP is not lower.

Thanks for the replies. I'm throwing a set of BMR 082/089 minimum drops on my GT with 20in factory wheels in the next few weeks, and if they sit too low for me I was considering going with factory PP springs assuming they sat a little higher and were stiffer than the stock GT springs I have now.

I have the 082/089 BMR Springs sitting in my garage now just waiting to be put on. The drop on these Springs IMO is what should have been the stock ride height. I have 275/40's which have about a 27.7" dia. If you run say a 275 20" tire a 35 would give just about the same tire diameter, same spacing between tire and fender well lip..
