Spoke with them this week at PRI.
The 4.11 is to be out by the end of this year! It is in their part book 07-888411-15 or 07-888411-15ISF in their Lightning Isotropic Superfinish.

Now, how do we go about recalibrating the speedo?

Asbuilts or Whipple flare tool. Does the GT350 share the same rear end as the GT? I would love these with FI...

This is a simple change in IDS/Forscan. You just change address 0726-12-01 from 0175 to 019A.

Does anyone think this would be worthwhile for a street car? I use my GT350 for mostly spirited driving, not a daily driver. Occasional Wednesday night drags at Sears Point. What kind of improvement would be seen in the 1/4 mile?

Based on my limited knowledge it would give us faster top speed?

The other direction. Lower top speed traded for increased accelleration. 3.31 would give you a higher top speed.

Can someone inform me on why a 4.11 would be better for the car.? Why would you give up top speed for acceleration. I do mostly highway racing so I would like the cons and pros.

You may want to talk to Ford Performance before you go to all the trouble. They were going to sell 4.11 gears for GT350, but decided against it because of problems. They will fill you in on why.

Shorter?.. gears give you better acceleration at the expense of reducing your top speed and require more shifting

With the GT350 redline It would probably make the car more fun on the street(at legal speeds) at the expense of some track speed

I guess it would depend on how fast you go on the highway

Im interested..

Can someone smarter them me tell me what the top speed per gear would be with the 4.11

Same carrier, different Torsen unit. The R&P set should fit either way.

It will be drag limited either way in the 6th gear.

3.73 to 4.11 isn't really that much of a change. Now, if someone were to make a 4.56, that might be worth the trouble...

Unless you're setting the car up for 1/4 mile only I would advise against anything lower than 4.11:1. I took my '70 Boss 302 from 3.50:1 to 4.56:1 and regretted it on the street. It was great around town but geared way too low for the highway. Remember this was a 4 speed, no OD gear. You almost couldn't shift it fast enough. I'm not sure how 4.56:1 would compare in the GT 350 where you have OD and a much higher redline.
