This wheel decision is still haunting me. I'm 98% ready to drop the hammer on a set, but have a couple questions.

The plan is 20x9.5 +35 and 20x11 +52, Forgestar CF5V deep concave in piano black

I have dropped the height 33mm all round on H&R springs (progressive) and I still have plenty of room for my fingers. Even on a recent drive to Bathurst going via the Bells Line of Road the guards didn't touch the tyres at all.
I installed the Koya SF06 20 x 10" fronts and 20 x 11" rears running 275/30/20 fronts and 305/30/20 rears. My 305 sit under the guard line as the pics show but not sure how another 10mm would go

You need to be a bit careful with tyre sizing. NSW Roads & Maritime only allow a 15mm increase in the overall diameter of the wheel/tyre combination; anything beyond this requires an Engineer's Certificate.

The 275/40/19 has an overall diameter of 702.6mm; +15mm = 717.6mm as the limit.

A 315/35/20 has an overall diameter of 728.6mm, a 305/35/20 comes in at 721.5mm.

The 305/30/20 as in Simon's post comes in at 691mm which is OK for NSW.

That rear tyre is too big (tall) in IMHO. Do it in a 30 aspect - you are adding taller gearing here wit this - it just looks too big. I think folks are over-tyring them (width) which makes them look silly. Look back on page 8/9 - my car has 295/35 x 20 rear 275/35 x 20 fronts. 305 is as big as I think you should go IMHO.
You can have a 10"front with that offset of 35mm - 9.5" you could have a 29 offset. Heck I think Vossens are 25 offset with that width. May as well go for 10" front - its legal - its the 11" rear that isn't.

Good luck. By the way the Koya wheel I find a good so far and less than what it would cost to import MRR wheels from the USA. And light.

Folks - generally - one thing to consider - the bigger the empty vessel (tyre) and the lighter the wheel (absorbing mass) the more noise you are likely to get transmitted from the road into the cabin.

Thanks mate, wheels are on order. Forgestar CF5V deep concave 20x9.5 +30 (20x10 don't come in deep concave) and 20x11 +55. Tyre plan is 275/35 and either 305 or 315/35 - if I can find a suitable option in 305 I'll do that, seems to be more in 315 though

Recommended width for a 295 is 10.5, 315 is 11 inch, plus I like the look of the fatter tyre. Noise is probably an issue for people running quieter exhausts haha

Points taken on board though, atm I'm waiting to see in person how a 305 fits on the 6gr wheels, so I can make my mind up about poke, profile etc, and drop [MENTION=14954]thewolf[/MENTION]

Something else to consider is the fact that different tyre brands with same dimensions are not all equal. There is quite a lot on the internet covering this which was a surprise to me. Some tests, physically measuring different tyre brand widths on the same rim, show certain tyre brands are 0.5 up to 1 inch wider. I went 295 MPSS for this reason as 295 is legal and Michelins are one brand that tend to measure wider than some others.

What offset are you using front and rear? I take these are concave front and deep concave rear?
