I usually travel over 3000 miles, so this trip is a lot less.
the 1st trip was:
Hook of Holland, Germany, Austria, back into Germany and the ferry
the 2nd trip was:
Hook of Holland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway,

My car was made for Overseas driving, as its a Lefty, feels at home!!
Swizerland should be "interesting" but have always wanted to visit Piz Gloria so this whole holiday is built around that.
The run from Milan to Monaco along the coast looks very nice, then a straight run back to the train with a few stop-overs

2 minutes is slow for me, just got lucky when i refreshed the page you were a new post ;)!

Mustang is for driving, and the S197 used to get so much attention it was crazy.
I would pull into little resting stops, and cars would follow me in, to take pictures and ask about the car. Our stops always lasted longer then we intended. But was a total buzz !!
And it works out cheaper even with the Petrol then hiring a car, as taking a rental into different countries costs a fortune.
And also European Petrol is more "pure" and I got more miles to a tank, and I already have European Cover with Classicline

expect the milan <> monaco leg to take 2x longer than you intended it can get snarled up badly on the coast road especially if its a nice day or coincides with any local holidays.

lyon reims route is quite nice if even if you stick to the motorways

Love a good Euro trip, only a 2200 mile trip in October though, 6 countries, Italy is sublime round the lakes.

Have done 5.5k a couple of times in other cars, Spain, France (Monaco), Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Holland.
