With thanks to pardoneo who posted this in the Europe section.

I wonder if these will be available in RHD............although if they're "EU" only, perhaps not :ninja:

==============================================================================================

Looks like Ford is preparing two special edition Mustang´s just for the European market:

Black Shadow: only available as an add on to the GT, it will have exclusive 19 -inch Y spoke black wheels (I will say that the wheels are just the 50YEARS anniversary wheels but painted black), black pony emblem on the grille and black 5.0 badges, alongside black stripes on sides and hood. Just available in Platinum White, Triple Yellow, Race Red and Grabber Blue.

Blue edition: if my understanding is correct, is just Grabber Blue with OEM stripes….but it can be associate also with the EcoBoost as well as the GT.

And pointless they are. The only reason to go for a limited or special edition imo would be to either get equipment not available separately or at a competitive price (as in the M Sport trim on BMs). I'm not sure I've seen a modded Mustang on here that isn't better looking than those ones.

Close, also has GT black multi-spokes for the Eco. But haven't seen anything else on it.

Let me guess, some special plaque. Sounds more like ford are offloading some of the 'special edition' extra's (50 Anniversary, CS for the Black edition, and 'Black pack' items).
Might be a bit deeper, Faded stripes maybe not available for MY18, New wheel design maybe... Could be offloading 'shit they dont need'.

Regardless, very Meh, unless price point is very low compared to self-modding them on :headbonk:

Oh, it's also LHD Euro markets only

Yep, LHD markets only :(

Hmmmm, once again, this sort of thing makes no sense. There is absolutely nothing being offered here that, in theory, couldn't be offered on RHD cars......although I note in the General section (Jarstang's just posted the official Press Release) that it also comes with the "upgraded door trims and stitched dash - so Premium trim that RHD doesn't come with).

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70797

And MM is right, whilst I welcome some new trims/options, this does smack of getting rid of parts bin oversupply prior to the '18MY ramping up

I'm sure...

premium black leather interior with prominent instrument panel stitching and matching door inserts.*
is just what we already have? We've got leather inserts, and we have leather around the instrument panel.....

Although re reading that press release it may also infer that:

'The high specification limited edition model delivers parking sensors, heated and cooled front seats, a premium ShakerPro audio system with 12-speakers and a powerful 8-inch boot-mounted subwoofer, and a premium black leather interior with prominent instrument panel stitching and matching door inserts.*'
relates to
'*Left-hand drive markets only'

as sometimes documentation and released are written so that the * goes to a foot note, in this case, this... So could be RHD markets too.

Suppose we'll find out when hell hath frozen over and Powerpacks are released.

Possibly.....although I don't believe "we" have leather on the dash top or the soft touch upper door panel......its stitched, but not leather......Our LHD Euro friends do get this as standard though.

Or did I dream this  (its possible, lol !)

Centurion07 maybe able to confirm as he's seen euro cars in the flesh. I always believed that the EU and UK stangs were the same interior wise... Let me go check some pictures!
