How many "100s of miles"? If you're not going nuts no the throttle all time, you should be able to go 350~375 miles on a tank (25 mpg x 15 gal) and still have a gallon left.Hi
Dose any one know if you can get a bigger fuel tank for the 17 Mustang GT as they are fairly thirsty and over here in Australia some of our fuel stops are a long way between each other (I am talking 100's of miles)
:ford:
Gas guzzlers exist in Australia too. They like their V8s just as much as we do.100s of miles between gas stations? You sure an american car was the best buy?
Sarcasm I hope!Yeah, I'd leave a gas tank in the trunk and call it a day.
This. I used to own a 2003 Jetta TDI with the famous ALH engine. I heavily modified it. It got 45 mpg and had over 200hp, about 325 ft lb of torque. TDI's stock would regularly get over 50 mpg.convert to biodiesel
Here's one that's about 350 miles. You'd be pushing it.How many "100s of miles"? If you're not going nuts no the throttle all time, you should be able to go 350~375 miles on a tank (25 mpg x 15 gal) and still have a gallon left.
Australia invented the most powerful TOURING production cars in the world and I am talking about family cars not sports carsGas guzzlers exist in Australia too. They like their V8s just as much as we do.
But no, no option for bigger tanks. I agree though, a slightly bigger tank would be nice, but your only real option would be to carry a spare fuel can with in case you run low.
So true. You all have some big V8 four door sedans in the Holdens that are made in to Impala SS's.Australia invented the most powerful TOURING production cars in the world and I am talking about family cars not sports cars
