DRLs finally...

Just booked in to have my Front DRLs fitted with Sequential lights installed and completed, heading down there on the 17th with a hangover and getting peasant transport back up.

I'll post pictures when they're done (and videos of the sequential's working). Which will be around the 20th December - Just in time for Christmas!

Q) What boards?
A) Diode Dynamics new EU driver boards, White with Amber sequential fitted into them, not the multi coloured ones unfortunately as they're a little out of my personal price range for something I may not use!

Q) Who's doing it?
A) Fortis Auto Design

Q) Where at?
A) Fortis' fitters in Hayes.

Q) How long?
A) 3 Days, as i'm impatient and want them done both quickly, and properly checked before I take delivery, and before Christmas. Was too impatient to wait for the 'Swap' programme they're looking at doing (Your headlights if they're in very good condition with no boards + cash for Headlights with DRLs+Seqt's)

They offered me a bunch of others stuff that could be done with my car whilst the headlights were open (Which were in a post I made a few months back which got deleted ), however, I'm currently saving for a house so had to turn them down. Things like Halo's on the Headlights, Demon Eye Headlights, Painted Bezels on the headlights and tinted reflectors I think from memory!

Anyway, as I said, i'll post plenty of pics of mine when it's done, with a review of the quality (which I'm betting will be incredible after looking at the last set they did) etc.

[MENTION=15533]slowhand99[/MENTION] Price, of what? the DRLs, think they're somewhere near 400-450 at the minute, but don't quite know until I get the receipt through, i've just said I'll pay whatever it is, which is granted, still far less than the 800 i've been quoted at other places :frusty:. From what i've heard from Diode, they (DD) are putting their prices up soon, because of this whole Brexit thing...

Anyway they've done a few cars now, and i've seen the handywork on it, so i'm 110% confident in them, and the work.

$90, but I needed to hit $100 to get the 20% off so i added the vanity mirror LEDs. Looking at the site today it says no minimum order. Money off pays for the postage.

There are (were) a couple of places in the UK that had them in stock but DD claimed they were unavailable as they undergoing a redesign so i waited and ordered direct.

So is just fronts or they can do rears as well?

I am more interested in rear sequentials, for some reason I am not as bothered about fronts but I will no doubt end up doing it anyway haha. Or maybe not as knowing my luck MY18 they might function, or maybe not haha.

They changed drivers, then changed warehouse and then changed some other shit. Then prioritised certain value orders not on first come first serve. Total wankers, pissed me right around as should have had these done back on summer!!!
It's with all their eu viable stuff. The Leds seem fine but anything feeding off power like the sidelights drls, rear lights etc, got redesigned. Including side markers.

Think they're back in stock. Fortis auto have a couple, and I thinknow Kent mustang have some (but like 180 from them!)
