It's a good ship to be on
I remember when it last came out, it had a heap of cars for AUS on it and wishing mine was also on it (my baby wasn't even conceived at that stage) the wait is almost over, at least i can stop checking the track and trace web page on a daily basis

Mine was on that trip as was a large number for here and NZ. Lots of good shots of the various ports and webcam footage on the previous tread

Safe trip mate!

If your car is going to be booked on the Parsifal I assume it would show up on track 'n' trace by now? Or is it possible to still get onto this ship?

From what I've seen the allocations to a boat are done in a batch and no further cars are added after the batch is entered. Never say never but it would not be normal to get on this ship if you aren't on it now

That's what i feared. The next ship doesn't appear to go to Freo so now will have to wait till the Tamerlane which only leaves on the 17th Dec 2016. Looks like to earliest i will have my car is Feb 2017. :frusty:

I cannot figure out how they do things. I ordered on the 18th Feb 2016 and it is on the Tarago which leaves Baltimore shortly. All I can assume is that your dealer may not have put your order through as quickly as could have, but I could be totally wrong. I feel for you. This waiting game is not much fun.:headbonk:

That's bad timing; commiserations, I know the feeling. I couldn't believe it when the factory closed for a week just before my car was due to be built. I have since discovered that shipping is the holdup, so it didn't make any difference.

Apparently the space on ships has to be booked up to 12 months in advance, so I can't see the waiting lists reducing any time soon unless Ford have been able to do a new deal. There's been quite a few cars sent this month, but not as many as August, so I don't see an upward trend just yet.

I don't think dealers are the blame for delays. Mine is one of the slowest orders on this forum, yet the order date that Ford has on file is correct.

Just got my NSC!

Dealer just called to say they have now switched over from the 'first come first served' order model to the 'dealer allocation' model which means dealers get limited allocations.

I should get an email from Ford today with a build :) date

Suddenly got real

Congratulations Tango! A NSC and build date in the same day...that's unheard of.

Ford must have lost my email address; they have not initiated any correspondence with me whatsoever...

Let's see if the email actually happens. Dealer said it would but my feeling is they might just be emailing to confirm NSC. Hope you get some news.
