So if I get info from a mag you guys get upset...if I get info from racing every Wednesday you guys still have something to say. Even tho I clearly said different people have different experiences. Sounds like you just hated hearing that the SS is faster. Maybe you should stop taking things personally. I wasn't insulting you or the GT. I was just stating the obvious that we all know. But ok, sure, hey, if that's what you wanna hear, then ok stock to stock the GT is just as fast as the SS. Whatever makes you guys happy believing is fine with me. I was wrong, the PP1 should be enough to beat a stock SS.

I am not denying the stock ss is faster. It doesn't take too much modes to beat one though. However, i m afraid a cammed full bolt on ss on stock motor can dip into 10's NA, i am not sure about the gt. There was a 600 hp na six gen mustang built if i remember right, I don't know what happened.

Check the fast list. Man this forum is uninformed. The mighty Camaro beats GTs by a second in stock form?? And Most don't even know what they are driving runs.

One bolt on car got to the 10s. I think what he was saying is 10s are common for cammed/bolt on camaros. I think if coyote cams were a lot cheaper they would be more popular like they are in the Chevy world. 10s would be common for a cammed coyote.

Where the hell are all of these 10 second 6th gens you speak of???? You say one bolt-on car. Think about that. No Cams, no nitrous! Bolt on! And there is about to be two more on the list. Head over to Camaro6 and see what they're doing in their bolt on list.

One thing I noticed all my LS friends do is completely fabricate their mods. In the LS world, stock means tunes, headers, intake, cams.

The Camaro fast list I found is pretty lacking. I was not disagreeing with you. Just pointing out with out cams mustangs are neck and neck with Camaros with cams. Imagine if mustang cams were cheaper. granted you need four of them so it will never be cheap. Idk hopefully they can populate their list more and we can compare better data.

Bama had a GT na car running in the tens last year without cams on 93 octane simple bolt ons and Mild weight reduction. if you threw and cams you definitely wouldn't need to reduce any weight on the GT. stock for stock the Camaro is faster. mod for mod it's really going to depend

Intake tune headers stall. 4010 race weight. Tune and intake is all it takes trust me. I'm 6 and 0 against 16 Camaros. And my wife is 3 and 0.
So you're saying a tune and intake is all it takes to run a low 12 in a GT?

I would say from the fast list, magazines, youtubes, etc..

E85 tune with an intake or mufflers will probably match it. To beat it, just add headers on top of that! I LOVE the GT so I've been reading, studying this for a bit.

A lot of Stangs run in the 11's with tunes and bolt-ons. Not sure if the PP2 is aggressive enough but I plan on getting a PP3 (hoping it's as good as they say it is) when I get my 5.0 and that should def. match a stock SS.

Go to 1:58.. The M6 GT did a hell of a job with just E85 and GT500 mufflers running 12.4 with a 60ft!

For a manual you have to be decent with a stick and also have to be at a decently prepped track and at a relatively good DA. None of that 4000 air, you need probably 1500 or lower.

Also tires won't hurt, not that all seasons can't cut it but a nice summer tire wouldn't hurt.

Ok so with equal drivers, at the same track, same DA, same day, both on stock tires, a GT with a cai and a tune should be able to beat a stock SS?
