Hi

Here is my 2016 Mustang GT with a JBA axleback exhaust. This video taken with iPhone does not do it any justice at all but it gives you an idea, MUCH deeper MUCH louder. Its not quite an axleback either as it goes way further forward than the Roush AB, it joins up at about under the rear seats.

Hi,

No there is no drone as such, but there is in low rpms say 2,000 to 2,500 a quiet deep rumble of the engine, below 2,000 rpm you cannot really hear it, above 3,500rpm's it sings a deep powerful song! It has a deep crackle after acceleration if you lift off, a bit like a V8 Supercar.

Yes the light thing is weird, I guess its just a trick of the video frames being too slow or something.

I just collected my new car Woohoo...took it straight home and hooked up the SLP Axle backs and can honestly say the are deadset spot on. They are loud enough, deep, smooth and drone free. I wouldnt want it any louder.

Are exhausts shops (generally) happy to dispose of your stock exhaust once they fit your new one? (Assuming that you don't wish to keep it).

Still undecided whether I need to be carting that monstrosity back home or not.
