Man, seriously like the YouTube vids... question: you seemed to get frustrated with those stripes... do you think a good prep and then CQuartz after may be a good remedy for the stripe scratch dilemma?

Keep the vids coming man!

Amen to that, really enjoy the videos and have picked up on some new detailing products to use as well. Money2536

Vids are great, I washed mine last night after watching the videos for a few hours, great info, and attention to detail. My stripes are swirled too, on the trunk only however. Not sure if there is a way to fix bug will try for sure. Again, thanks cod vids.

He's doing a great job with the videos...he may think he is a bit odd but there are quite a few of us out there that can relate to him.

Keep it up Matt.

I covered my stripes with Suntek PPF C and it really did a good job of hiding any swirls, at least to the naked eye, and it protects them too for future scratches during washing, etc.

My stripes are matte and I don't wanna gloss them up with film. Would the Suntek do that?

I believe that Suntek has a matte film. Xpel certainly does. It's called Stealth.

Seeing him clay the stripes, and then take a polisher to it kinda made me uneasy. Vinyl really doesn't behave in the same way like paint does.

It might be worth trying to take a heat gun to the stripes, and see if it reflows some of the imperfections, but otherwise, I don't think you're going to be able to really fix it.

Well i fixed my swirled stripes for good by replacing them with matte black with red pinstripe from Big Worm graphix.
