Just got back from OBX this weekend. I drove the Mustang down there which was around a 600 mile round trip. I am glad I did because the week ended up being perfect and there was barely any standing water on the road when we got there last Saturday. I am now at 7,5XX miles!

This was yesterday, but I cut up some mass load vinyl to see if it helped remove some sound coming from the transmission tunnel after the Steeda Tri-ax race shifter install. It worked great! really close to being as quiet as stock. Cruising, it might actually be quieter.

Did I mention that I love this shifter!

I finally migrated from Laser Interceptors to a quad head Anti Laser Priority parking sensor. Sucked because the ALP cable is thicker than the old Li cables so I had to widen the holes through the back bumper. Other than that the install was cake...

I know my car was dirty, it was a busy weekend. I was only able to test it against a Pro Laser 3 and a Ultralyte Comact but it blanked both guns. Not bad for just two heads but I'll add a third up front just in case I run into some more sophisticated Lidar they have up by Dallas.

Apparently I am going to be replacing my battery today.

Drove the car on Saturday with zero issues. Tried starting this morning and nothing. Jumped it and drove it 20 miles and still completely dead. Jumped it again to get it home and nothing.

Ford and their cheap batteries got me.

You car looks great :headbang:

Wow snow tires already. Mine are ready to go but I'm gonna wait till the last minute. I've got Blizzaks on Rims ready with Steeda Jacking Rails and a Jack already to go. Should take 30 minutes or less I'm thinking. Hoping it don't snow like last year so I don't change them but last year was not the norm for snow around here.

How's the ride on Snow Tires ?
Thanks!
To tell the truth I just put on the Pirelli All Seasons that came with the car. My "Summer" tires get a bit lose when the temp drops below 35. We don't get much snow in my part of NC and if we do I'm jumping in the F150 instead.

Sounds like an alternator thing. Ive read of a few folks here that had loose alternator belts/loose alternators.

I do the same thing, even in Texas. I get no traction once temps get in the 40s, so I just throw my stock rims/tires on for about 2 months. Kills me to do it, but it is what it is.

The dumb thing, is that once in a while, I get the urge to sell my stock rims, buy another set of wheels with a staggered all-season setup just so I don't lose the look. Then I snap back to reality and realize the money is better spent elsewhere.
