I may be wrong but going off some of the different descriptions could it be another Bullitt?

Hints of the '68 hood there then, if that turns out to be the case :)
That is the transition period the Mustang is in right now. The '15-'17 represents the Classic Era from '65 to '67. However, the design was always '68-'69 focused in many concept sketches and that is where I believe they are heading. We will see the Classic Era ushered out for more aggressive styling.

Is it possible we see a '70 style, grill surround-less front fascia in 2020 for M7G?

Of course! And pretty aggressive looking that was, too!

Anything's possible......but that hood wouldn't have to mean it's a Bullitt......could just be the regular GT. Personally, I'm hoping for a little more differentiation between V6/Ecoboost/GT :)

Topnotch did mention something about SF auto show.....sooo maybe
TN also mentioned it doesn't look like the 18MY will appear at LA.....so I'd doubt we'll see anything at SF now....more likely Detroit in January.

Except for the new 302 replacing the 289, the introduction of the 428 CJ in '68 and a few minor styling exterior details and interior trim changes, the '67 and '68 Mustangs were the same car.

Man this is getting exciting. The 67-68 hood has always been my favorite. And if they bring back the hood vent mounted turn signals on a slightly lower hood too, and there's a Bullitt, well all my dreams will be coming true lol.

Even if there isn't an official Bullitt (I really hope there is though)....you could always get a DHG wrap. That'd also make it unique! :)

If your saying the 15-17 Mustang, represents the 1965-1967 Mustang, I either must be blind as a bat, or dummer than a door nail. I owned a brand new 1966 GT 350, and if it would have looked like a 2015-16 Mustang, trust me I would have never owned it.

I hope he has to get the DHG wrap and Ford concentrates on a Mach 1!

Well the rumor is the Mach 1 is the SE that will be shown in New York in March. The Bullitt wouldn't be that different, think more like the 2015 50th anniversary edition or something like that. Not mass produced. So I think they could co-exist.

I'd like to see both, too.

I guess it depends how far Ford would/could go with either.

Certainly a Bullitt based on a Performance Pack GT would be a welcome addition. I guess it could just be an appearance package as the base GT is so good now. Perhaps manual only?

The Mach 1? I still see that midway between a GT and GT350 with, hopefully, the 5.2 CPC and Mag ride as standard. Give this one the option of the 10-speed auto.

Ford really need to throw us a bone......all this day dreamin/wishful thinking is driving me bonkers :headbonk:
