Though I would open a new thread dedicated to only 3.7 owners who can post and share their regrets of their modifications which did not go as planned and regret them now. These will be helpful for further down the lane for any newbies to the forum or people looking to get started on their mustang mods.

For me as of now all mods have gone as planned and I am happy about them.
But this might change when I get an x or h pipe. :headbonk:

Cat delete. Sounded like trash, put cats back on the next day. Also regret my 50% windshield tint, very little difference, 35% would be better.

MMD rear diffuser, though it seems that I'll beable to make an exchange when they fix the problem. I don't really know when/if they'll release a fixed version.

I could see myself regretting my Flowmasters in the near future...and it's not even because of the drone. Its because at really high rpms it sounds annoying and ricey, but if I am not pushing the car like that then the sound is frkin awesome....just not that high rpm screaming.

You need an H pipe. Headers wouldnt hurt either. My car sounds does not sound ricey at all. I installed the H pipe at the same time as the axleback though. H pipe will make it deeper and the headers will a tad, but makes it clearer, little less drone too.

Where'd you get the h pipe from? I've been trying to find a good one to go with my flowmasters

Anyone have experience with the Outlaws and an x-pipe?

Does it sound ricey at really high rpm?

I personally love the sound V6 has in below video. V8 ish sound :) Its has more or less same setup as mine. Tried to reach out to that person for design of custom h - pipe so that I can get it built locally. No response so far.

I spent a ton of money trying to get catless pipes to sound right. In the end i was happy, but i went back to cats. But it took 4 or 5 different combos before i arrived at my current and best combo. Aside from that ive been happy with my mods

X is higher pitch and raspy. H is deeper and throaty. Its up to you which you like better. If you have a v8 I like either. But with the v6 I personally do not like higher and raspy. I have videos of my set up on here, youtube, and on IG. Everyone loves it. I get tons of compliments even from the v8 guys. Was at the drag strip last weekend and everyone loved the sound......and wheels, but thats a different conversation.

I like it. It isn't raspy or airy sounding. It's a throaty growl I guess. I did the H the same time as the axleback Outlaws so I cant speak on just the H sound alone. But do some research and you'll see differently shaped midpipes give different sounds.
I also got amazing black friday deals last year from Lethal for the DP/Hpipe and AM for the Outlaws. I don't have catless DP installed btw.
Edit: If you pair any midpipe with an axleback that is raspy then you'll get some rasp. If you're confused on H vs X and you hate rasp you do not want an X pipe. X will be higher pitched and raspy.
I have a video on my build page link below. It's before the shorty ceramic headers. Check it out. I also have a cold start video on the same youtube channel. Headers just made the tone clearer. Very slightly lower pitch. So it's a little more throaty and less exotic sounding now (high revs) vs in the video.
