Yeah, I think it's safe to assume that's the mostly finished new rear bumper. I'd expect some piece to finish off the exhaust tip area obviously. Another thing I noticed looking at these back end pictures is that it looks like the center part of the deck lid has a raised and rounded protrusion, suggesting a faux gas cap on this mule. Unless all models will get it, the only 2 cars that would be on would be a California Special or Bullitt...

Also looks like blind spot monitoring will remain an option as this mule has the bubbles in the corners of the side mirrors.
Your eyes are getting fooled by the camo ;)

i don't like how the plate is on the rear at all compared to the way the current rear flows. we'll see when the camo is off

I know we're a ways off from seeing the reveal but a car with different camo would help a ton right now so we could possibly piece together some details.

In any case, I'm definitely going to order my 2018 with the stylish hood-box option that these mules don't have.

Well, if it does debut at LA, that's less than a month away (it runs 18th-27th Nov)......and I'd expect a tease or two the week before from Ford.

If it's Detroit, OK that's just under 3 months (8th - 22nd January). The one upside is it might leak the day before (7th January) and that's my birthday :D

As for the camo......I can't imagine we'll see anything different until the reveal. The only way we'll see more is if someone leaks something.

:)

Good Point, but its questionable If that would be allowed in the EU or Germany
Tribar DRL is not even allowed here, at least they removed it from the EU Mustang. But other cars have not problem with kind of similar DRL and sequential turn signals in the headlights. So I don't thing that's really a problem if they do it right and look up the laws in detail - To me it seems like they always said they designed the S550 for worldwide markets but forget to look up the regulations outside of the US

And there's no way a fat EU license plate will fit into that hole :headbonk:

There's no way that recessed rectangular area is the final license place mount/cubby hole. Looks like they designed a bumper and at the last minute forgot a license plate needs to be attached so they made an indentation to fit it. Ford puts more thought into their designs than that, I hope.

I'm still wondering if the rear fender-mounted radio antenna is gone or just missing on this car.
