ok, bought an assortment of caps and also a stubby antenna so that I could get free shipping on everything.

Hopefully I can get the intake on by the weekend.

so after installing the new intake, I know what the existing ports go to on my car.

on the left is the tube that goes to the back of the intake. I guess this actuates the valves to change the manifold profile? That one still doesn't make sense to me since I would think this would require vacuum to operate. On the right side of the tube we have the sound tube, the breather for the driver side valve cover, and then something that isn't there anymore. The breather for the other valve cover seems to go into the manifold behind the throttle body, which means that it has vacuum. I must be missing something.

The line goes to the vent side of the solenoids for the imrc's, when vacuum is released air has has to come from somewhere. Normally like egr solenoids they run a little cap with a piece of foam as a filter, but they typically leak a little vacuum all the time, so by venting to intake tube it is now has clean filtered air and there will be unmetered air if solenoids leak, tho i am curious what they did to solenoids in 2017, maybe old style foam cap again???
